Fantastic hotel

Posted 29-Jul-2014
Pros: The service was fantastic and hotel decor very pleasing.
Location: Location for gare du nord was perfect.
We stayed for 2 nights as a couple. Just a few minutes walk from gare du nord, the hotel staff couldn't be more helpful. Our room was on the sixth floor, quite small but spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and quiet with air conditioning, bath robes and slippers! Plus complimentary tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival which was replaced the following day. I would definitley recommend the breakfast which had lots of choice and was constantly being replenished.

Good location, very helpful staff

Posted 15-Jul-2014
Pros: Everythiing.
Location: San Quentin market, various good restautants.
Arrived via Eurostar, had reservations and stay pre-paid. This hotel is short walk from Gare du Nord, but we took cab as we were unsure of location. We speak very limited French, but fluent Spanish, which helped, but staff speaks excellent English -- somewhat a surprise given Paris' reputation for insisting on French. Desk staff was great with directions. Room was quiet, clean, comfortable.

Pros: Close to everything
Location: Walking distance to the train station, Metro and the Lafayette gallery.
Very comfortable, close to everything, very convenient. Would definitely come back and stay to this hotel again. Very nice and elegant decorations.

Convenient for Eurostar at Gare du Nord

Posted 17-May-2014
Pros: Location
Location: 5-10 mins walk from Gare du Nord
Pleasant small hotel in a convenient location for Gare du Nord. It's a small hotel with a boutique style feel which has been renovated simply but effectively. Room & bathroom were clean and I slept well. Breakfast was the usual self-service continental buffet affair with bread, fruit, pastries, eggs etc. If you're looking for an average priced hotel handy for Gare du Nord this is a good choice.

Loved this hotel

Posted 21-Apr-2014
Pros: The decor was cool and understated, the room was very clean and the staff were friendly.
Location: Close to Gard de Nord, metro and bus links
A Stones Throw from Gard de Nord perfect for the eurostar we walked to the hotel. Comfy beds shared a sweet which was small but perfectly formed. The court yard was lovely and the staff were helpful and friendly. I stayed an extra night because I liked it so much!

Smart hotel near to Gare du Nord

Smart hotel within walking distance of the Gare du Nord. Small but well appointed rooms. Easy access to the metro. A good base for exploring Paris.

Breakfast.. coffee macine and toaster weren't working. Scrambled eggs and sausages in server were stone cold. Rooms small but clean with nice bathroom Receptionist friendly and understanding. Located in non descript but aptly named side street rue de petit hotels

Poor air conditioning

Posted 20-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
Location was a bit dodgy next to the train stations but overall quiet and close to the centre. The room was nice and clean, but it was too hot in the room and air conditioner did not work, so we had to sleep through nights with an open glass door to a tiny french balcony (as there were no windows). Overall, not bad at all, but next time I would look elsewhere.

Very small room

Posted 03-Jan-2014
Pros: You can walk to Sacre Coeur. Fixtures, linens, and general appearance feel fresh.
Cons: Put tea and coffee in the room! Or, make that available any time in the breakfast room without charging. Clean/paint/decorate/beautify the entrance.
Location: Sacre Coeur and Galeries Lafayette are a short walking distance.
This hotel is right near Gare du Nord, is renovated, and the people working the front desk are very nice. But you may use the sauna and steam rooms once for one hour, the room where my husband and spent five nights was extremely small, the hallways and lobby are tiny, the entire experience felt austere, and the area is seedy, so we will not return to this hotel.
