Good position for major stations.

Posted 04-Jul-2015
Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: Outside appearance of hotel.
Never judge a hotel by it's exterior. Nothing to look at from the outside this hotel proved to be very comfortable with an exceptionally friendly, helpful staff no matter who was on duty at reception. It is within walking distance from two of the major train station and metro. We did not utilise it but the hotel has a spa which would be a plus for many travellers.

Good hotel close to Eurostar terminal

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Had a very enjoyable stay here recently on a weekend stay with my wife. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, without exception. Only negative points were that the beds really are quite hard! Almost uncomfortably so. And the exterior of the hotel could do with smartening up to match its lovely interior, but this really wasn't a problem. Although I guess it may put some people off from the outside alone.

Excellent hotel close to Gare du Nord in Paris

Posted 27-Jun-2015
Pros: Decor, staff and cleanliness.
Cons: See above
Location: See above
Very good apart from one or two minor technical issues.Advertised with iPod but it did not work.Reported but no one came to fix it.Sink in bathroom did not retain water. Otherwise excellent stay.Area is not very salubrious but we quickly got used to it and always felt safe. Begging and ransacking bins were main problem.

Excellent Budget Hotel in Central Paris

Posted 22-Jun-2015
Used this hotel as base whilst exhibiting at the Paris Airshow. Arrived from UK by Eurostar and only a short 7 minute walk from Gare du Nord. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel clean and smart with facilities I would normally only expect with bigger hotels. Chose this hotel because of other good reviews and, really, I wish to endorse them. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Paris.

A nice hotel close to the Gare du Nord

Posted 21-Jun-2015
Pros: Location (walking distance of the Gare du Nord), price, facilities, staff.
Location: Indian community, general exploration, nice churches (Saint Trinite). Gare du Nord: Eurostar/trains.
A pleasant, mid-priced hotel close to the Gare du Nord with polite, well spoken staff and nice facilities at a good price. I would definitely return. While I speak French, for non-speakers, everyone at the reception desk spoke good English. Staff was helpful and my requests, for an iron or a taxi, were promptly taken care of. One night we were kept up by noisy guests, but when we requested if someone could ask them to pipe down, it was taken care of at once. Rooms have A/C, and you can get an adapter for phones/computers etc.

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke good English.
This is a great hotel. While the room is small, that is to be expected. The shower was great, good water pressure and ease of use. Nice towels as well as robes and slippers. Comfortable bed, nice pillows. Our room was towards the back so there was no street noise and both windows could be opened for fresh air. The room contains a safe so we could place our laptops and other valuables there without worry. Proximity to a metro station was good (about a 5 minute walk) and that allows you access to the entirety of Paris with a daily metro pass so the location from central Paris is irrelevant. The best thing about the hotel was the front desk staff. Very nice, friendly, and they spoke good English. The night before checking out we asked how to get to the train station and how we might hire a taxi and they told us that it is a short walk to the train station that takes you to CDG. When we told them we were still confused, one of the employees walked out of the hotel, down the street and physically showed us how close it was and how to get there. As a result we did not hire a taxi and simply walked with great confidence. This extra effort is what made our stay at this hotel so positive. Really nice staff and a clean and comfortable room.

Great service

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Pros: The room was very quiet, and really dark at nights - which deserves mention because I find most hotel rooms are too light. The bed was comfy, too.
Location: Several good cafes with outdoor seating less than five minutes' walk away, and some good restaurants, too.
I was so impressed by the service ethic at Hotel Mademoiselle. Cleaning and reception staff alike were welcoming and helpful, and worked hard to ensure we had a good stay.
