“Loved it.”
We stayed for 8 days. The standard room was small but immaculate. The bath was great. The hotel staff was wonderful and they speak English. I could not have been happier with the location. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby for food and water. 2 Metro stops nearby. And the Jardin de Luxembourg is close by for those of you who like to go for a run. I would stay here again and skip the tourist stuff (too crowded).
“Love this hotel”
This is the second time I have stayed at the Hotel Le Six and I loved it even more this time. For me, it's perfect - welcoming, clean and safe, with rooms that are attractive without trying too hard to be trendy. It's within easy reach of several Metro lines or a reasonable walk to the river, but there's lots to do and see locally. The staff are very helpful and all speak English (although they were wiling to indulge my feeble attempts to speak French). I'll definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Paris, which I hope will be soon.
“Fantastic Hotel”
Warm Friendly & Helpful Staff at a great City Center location There is a Metro close by yet many fabulous museums and other sites are in close walking distance.
“A nice place but there are better places for the same price area.”
Okay place but a little too pricey for it's real value.
“couldn't ask for more”
My husband and I couldn't have asked for more from our honeymoon hotel. Hotel le Six is convenient to multiple metro stops and so close to the Luxembourg Gardens that we visited 3 times during our week stay. The staff at the hotel are all friendly and accommodating - some of the best I've ever encountered. We loved the wood floors in the room and the shower was to die for. You're not in the heart of a touristy area which, for us, was another plus.
“Small, welcoming and the perfect location”
Hotel Le Six was a really good choice for us. Loved the boutique feel - smaller and very friendly and personal. Staff were all very good, from houskeeping to breakfast staff to the front desk. The location is great. Fabulous access to a great part of Paris, and stops on four different Metro lines in easy walking distance. Quiet street close to lots of activity. One block to Monparnasse Blvd. and some of the best cafes, birstros and brasseries in Paris. Rooms are efficient, but decent sized and very comfortable. We had a street view and loved it. Would recommend to anyone and would stay here again.
“Great place to stay”
I was very impressed with this hotel. A bit more than I had wanted to pay, but the standard of the room and the location meant that it was worth every penny. I did a lot of walking and museum shuffling so to be able to relax in a hot hot bath every evening in a superbly appointed bathroom was much appreciated.
“Lucky to find this place”
We felt so fortunate to have found such a great hotel not having been to Paris before...and not knowing what to expect. We took our 14 yr old grand-daughter and even with her staying in our room we had adequate space. The staff were so helpful...from restaurant recommendations to shopping locations for teenagers to opening wine bottles....they were a lot of fun! The location is fab being near so many subway stations. The rooms are SO quiet at night. I wish I were back there right now!
“a gem of a hotel!”
start to finish, the hotel was amazing. the staff was so helpful with metro directions and dinner options, even securing a reservation for Helene Darroze same day. I've been recommending Hotel le Six to all my francophile friends!
“Nice location in quiet, fairly centrally located neighborhood.”
Stayed here for 3 nights, had very pleasant experience. Room, though small, was very nice, clean, and a pleasure to stay in. Neighborhood is also quiet, though near Montparnasse and in the southern part of the 6th. Would recommend staying here.
