Pros: Located in pleasant neighbourhood, good restaurants nearby, very convenient for getting around from
Cons: Nothing specific I would pick out
Location: On RER which connects with locations I need. Walking distance to all you need for restaurants and many tourist zones too
It did all I asked very satisfactorily, it's a very pleasant hotel

Lots of Character

Posted 20-Aug-2014
Pros: Staff & location
Location: Great central location. Loads of great places to eat and drink nearby
Stayed a couple of nights at Le Clos Medicis - great location just next to the Pantheon and the Gardens, super friendly helpful staff and a lot of character. If you want somewhere that feels like a proper French hotel this is for you. Not quite the polish of the big hotel chains but comfortable, friendly and unique. Enjoyed our stay.

This was a little gem in a terrific location!

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We did not spend much time in the hotel, but the time we did spend was comfortable. It was within steps of Luxembourg Gardens and the transportation stop. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quaint, friendly experience!

nice hotel right next to gardens of luxemborg.

Happy with the complementary coffee every morning at the bar- not something you can generally expect in Europe. Staff was helpful with confirming seats on airplane and obtaining boarding passes. Their English was better than my French. The location in the heart of the latin quarter is excellent. Quiet location far enough away from Blvd. St. Michel. Loved being able to walk through Luxemborg gardens each morning. Room was quite comfortable but some issues with bathroom- sink not deep enough- and showering resulted in minor flooding of bathroom floor. All in all, a very positive experience.

Nice, convenient, good location

Posted 17-Jun-2014
Pros: Above all, beyond being clean, comfortable, well appointed and working well, it has a very nice feel about it.
Cons: Not a lot I would seek to change.
Location: Pleasant with good amenities around it. And easy to get everywhere else.
It's convenient being on the RER, it's a nice hotel at a reasonable price, you can walk down to Notre dame in 15-20 minutes

Great location, close to metro station at Luxembourg. Many types of food outlets nearby, including usual fast food style. Lift to our floor which had 3 hotel rooms so no corridor noise at night. Breakfast meals as per usual style in France, fresh breads, sliced meats & cheeses, range of cereals. Suited us OK.

Evening in Paris

Posted 26-Sep-2013
Pros: Location to major scenic attractions and restaurants.
Cons: None
Location: Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower within walking distance as well as many restaurants and shops.
Very nice clean and comfortable hotel with breakfast and bar for evening drinks. In inner city of Paris, Notre Dame Cathedral within walking distance, as well as Eiffel Tower, which was a little further, but still within walking distance.

Great weekend

Hotel Le Clos Medicis is a really quaint hotel in the Latin Quarter. It's just a few steps away from the entrance to le Jardin Luxembourg and very convenient. I had a single room on the 5th floor and as with all hotel rooms in Paris, it was small but very comfortable and cozy. I found the staff to be very helpful and I had absolutely no complaints about my stay! I did not have the breakfast as it was 13 Euros which I thought was a bit expensive (but again, not at all uncommon for places in Paris). I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
