“Wouldn't go back.”
Positive things: The room and bathroom are clean. The staff tries to be helpful. Negative Things: The room is really small (even for Paris standards). The shower is even smaller (a big person can't fit in there). However, the worst thing is that you can hear every single noise your "neighbors" make, even the ones you really don't want to listen. I had a terrible night, on one night we woke up 3am to a couple arguing in the next room. The location is not the best as well. 4 large blocks from the metro and far from almost everything. Tip: The WIFI is only available on the ground and first floor and it is free.
“Good Hotel... Quiet Street”
The service was excellent. The room was comfortable and big compared to many I've had in Europe. My room was in the back with no elevator but I never care about that. However, if you have trouble with stairs you may want to ask for a room in the front part of the hotel. My only complaint was with the WiFi service. Like many hotels in Europe it is not provided with the room, so is purchased separately from one of the country's internet providers and at this hotel it sucks badly.
“Good wee hotel”
An excellent small hotel for people who like to be out and about. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quite street, breakfast excellent value for money. Metro connections good. Local restaurants very good if you take the trouble to look around the area. Will go there again.
“small, quiet, safe”
I stayed in the Hotel Glasgow in 2005 and I remember the staff being very kind to me, giving me a Pascal Morabati collection of soaps and shampoo, after a maid had accidentally thrown away my shampoo while cleaning the room. So, I knew the place had small rooms, bathrooms, etc... but a friendly staff. On my recent stay, March, 2009, I needed a double room as I had a friend staying with me for a night. The first room I was shown was fine , but it had one queen sized bed and I wanted a room with two single beds. The second room had that, but there was a strong cigarette smoke smell, ( in the curtains and bedspread ). Other than that, the room was fine and I could open the window for fresh air.
“Will stay there again”
As a woman travelling alone, I really liked this hotel. The hotel is in a good area, which feels very safe. The room was small, but well appointed and clean. The metro stops (I used both Villiers and Malesherbes) are not on the front step, but still an easy walk away. I will try to stay there again on my next trip to Paris!
“yes yes yes”
TV minuscule, moquette multicolore, .... A découvrir
“für ein paar Tage sehr nett”
Drei *** in Frankreich entsprechen eher ** in Deutschland.
“comodissimo e centrale”
camera confortevole e pulitissima, personale gentile.
