Good for the price

Posted 16-Jun-2014
Pros: The location is the best, also the room was fine, international news channels on tv for the quiet moments
Cons: get the staff slightly more interested in their job and off the phone
Location: best location for a good price
We stayed here for one night. One of the best locations in town we can say, so central. Hotel seems to be upgraded a year or two ago, but all is still in good order. The staff were uninterested, mainly on the phone all day, but fine, spoke English and were able to answer every question. The shower hose wasn't very long, and as a man of 1.84m and travel companion even taller, a shower was a bit challenging. All in all good, and we wouldn't hesitate to go back there. Also the street noise isn't too bad/loud

Paris, good location, nothing special

Posted 15-May-2014
On arriving to Hotel Flor Rivoli we were comforted by the staffs English and the fact they had a lift. Taking the stairs wasn't an issue with us but was helpful with large bags. The staff were always polite and helpful. The bathroom, although small, did the job. Very central location, only a few metres away from Chatelet Les Halle's Station. Only downfall was it was very loud at night with people hanging around downstairs. Overall, Paris is expensive so good value for money.... I think.

Good location for sightseeing

Posted 10-May-2014
Pros: The location was great. Very easy to get to on the Metro from Gare du Nord.
Good place to stay if you just want a bed. Good location for sightseeing, plenty of eateries close by. The room was basic but beds were good and the water nice and hot. Lift is small. I would use this hotel again if sightseeing in Paris.

This is a good location, but a highly over price property.

Good location

Posted 02-Feb-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: not having the mattress on the floor would be a big improvement
Location: very close to the Rue Rivoli, convenient to the Louvre.
Very small, bathroom tiny, no box spring so you are basically sleeping on a mattress on the floor. The elevator can barely fit one person alone without bags. The location is great, two blocks away is the river and the walk along the river up to the Louvre is very quick and lovely. Gets a little dodgy at night, but nothing sinister. for a quick cheap weekend I would recommend this hotel, if you don't intend to spend much time there.

Great location if you can handle narrow stairs

It was good for what I needed. Good location and reasonable price. Nothing fancy. Only drawback was luggage on the narrow steps of the spiral staircase.

Great Location

This Two Star Hotel is located across the street from the Chatelet-Les Halles RER B line that takes you directly from Degulle Airport. From there you can explore the Louvre or Notre Dame 6 blocks in either direction, or walk the River Seine three blocks away. Hotel Staff is very helpful, speak English and allowed us to store bags before checkin. There are lots of local restaurants and shops located in this very safe area. You'll find the Hotel is typical for Europe so, anyone who travels know that the rooms are smaller then we see in America. The Hotel is very clean, however maybe it could use new carpeting and re grouting in a couple of areas in the bathroom. Overall it's an exemplary value and I would definably stay there again.
