Weekend Birthday trip to Paris

Posted 18-Nov-2014
Pros: Everything, the cleanliness, the comfort, the staff and the location.
Cons: If I had too choose something it would be that the lift was a small, but that is really all I could fault.
Location: Obviously the Opera, but there are lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and the metro and airport shuttle bus are a short walk away.
Had a wonderful trip the hotel was excellent. From the moment we entered through the doors to our departure we were made very welcome, all the staff were tremendous and this made our trip more memorable. The room was lovely it was pristine in cleanliness, the bed was that comfortable that my daughter and I didn't want to get up. We walked our "legs off" during the day packing as much in as we could and it was lovely when we returned to our room to have a shower and put on the slippers and bathrobes provided and recharge our batteries for the next day. The hotel is in an excellent location for getting around by metro and there are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops in the area. The shuttle airport bus is just a short walk away as well so you could not ask for more. 24 hour room service is available and there is a restaurant and bar.

Good location and reasonable price. The staff is the best in London -- friendly, professional and not to stuffy.

Pros: The bed was large, comfortable as was the pillows. It was extremely clean ,the staff was exceptional and the location was amazingly central.
Location: It was just a few blocks from the Opera, the Madeleine, the Louvre. It was in walking distance to the metro that takes you anywhere.
The staff was exceptional in trying to assist in every way they could. They would go out of their way to deliver assistance. I would definitely return to this same hotel and recommend it to others without any hesitation.

Amazing location in the most beautiful city

Paris is the most beautiful city in the world in my opinion. The hotel Edouard 7 made our time there even more special. All the staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English. Can't wait for our next visit.

Fabulous Opera location and view!

Posted 06-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, comfort, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: No complaints at all.
Location: Just a block or two from the Opera and a short walk to too many sites to list. An excellent location in 2nd Arr.
We stayed at the Hotel Edouard 7 on our way back through Paris for a short 2 nights. The hotel is in a super location and central to many restaurants and sites. The room was tiny but completely efficient and comfortable. The internet worked well and our balcony offered a splendid view of Opera Garnier.

Centrally located little gem

Posted 09-Sep-2014
We ended our trip in France with a stay at the Hotel Edouard 7. It was centrally located to all the things that we wanted to see/do for our last 2 days - a quick walk to the Opera, Louvre, Gardens, d'Orsay and some shopping. You could see the Opera and Montemarte from our balcony, which was pretty cool. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent and the staff very nice. The front desk personal when we checked in were also great and very helpful, printing off maps and giving general recommendations. The room itself was cozy - a bit psychedelic with it's bronzy-orange and purple wall paper. Beds were small but comfortable. Our room somehow had small ants in it - which the gentlemen at the front desk didn't care about when told. He just waved it off. One warning, there are no shops around that sell bottled water, so we had to rely on what we could get at the cafes or use from the minibar (what a rip off! 6€ for a small bottle!). Another negative, which I think is more Paris in general though, was that most everything was closed on Sunday. I would definitely stay at this hotel again though. Great location, mostly great staff, comfortable.
