It was good . Staff were nice and super helpful. It is very quiet around the area and very safe . Walkable access to the metro and restaurants 2 mins walk. I know it is not a big hotel , but having an elevator one day would be helpful. It can be painful if you have a check in language and have to go up and down by yourself . When it comes to the price, I do feel like it is a little pricey for the type of hotel you get very basic but others than that , great stay . You can not beat the location.

Disappointing
Pros: good location, good breakfast, close to metro stations. Cons: I booked a classic room, the room we were given was nowhere near, more like a budget room. The girl at reception had a bad attitude. The safe in the room got jammed, took a long time to get unlocked, although I had to press for it, I was asked to leave it until the day I travel! Dining room very limited space.

My room was on the 4th floor. Note; there are no elevators. Was a little bit of a trek but the room was worth it. I had the corner room and the window overlooking the neighborhood. It was perfect! Had a very Parisian feel. It was perfect for one person, could fit 2. The neighbour hood was quaint and safe. Would highly recommend. 15 minute walk to the Monmartre neighborhood, which is a must see!

Quaint Hotel in Chic Neighborhood
Quaint small hotel in the quiet and chic Batignolles neighborhood, with close proximity to great restaurants and boulangeries. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Room was small but c’est Paris. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall okay, but no AC so it was hard so fall asleep. no elevator and carpets are full on stains ( I assume it‘s from the pets that are allowed to stay in this hotel). Staff is friendly!

Good room, good value
Nice friendly reception, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, clean room. 3 flight of stairs walk up was good workout each day. Easy 2 mile or less walk to any major venue.

Located in the 17th district, you are about 15 minutes walking to the Moulin Rouge (easy access to tour/sightseeing busses). Lots of bakeries and restaurants nearby. Safe and easy to walk in the area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Baggage storage was great after an overnight flight to allow us to see some of Paris before our check in time. Room was typical European size but very comfortable.

The hotel is old, needs updating. Room was very small. It was clean but the carpet is old, there is no air conditioning only an oscillating fan, no elevator, not one bit luxurious. If it had been hot, I would have been miserable as the room faced a courtyard with little air circulation. I slept with the windows wide open and the fan on. One member of the staff (can’t remember his name from India) was very helpful and friendly. The other 2, not so much. Neighborhood was ok. Good distance from main attractions like Notre Dame, Luxembourg gardens but close to Arc de Triomphe. Suffice it to say I was disappointed based on the reviews I read. This would be equivalent to a motel in the US.

Great option at a great price!
The decor was very cute! (I want to bring some of the aesthetics to my own apartment.) The hotel seems to be on the edge of a trendy neighborhood and one that is less so. Nicely outfitted (eg shampoos, cotton pads, etc) and as of when I stayed, a cool multi-colored pen :) I stayed in 3 hotels in Paris on my last trip, and this was the best one for the price in a neighborhood that is worth checking out if you're looking for a 'real' Paris visit. Another hotel I stayed at in the next neighborhood over was 70% more expensive and not necessarily that much better. Of course, the biggest downside is the lack of elevator/lift, but if you travel light, that's no issue.

Great Stay with the Family
This is a perfect French boutique hotel, clean, cozy, with great and very helpful staff. The hotel is located perfectly in the centre of the 17th addrosant very close to Rome metro station (line 2) and walking distance to the Montmartre Village, the Opera, and the Louvre, though we enjoy walking. There are a lot of great restaurants around, the grocery store and an amazing bakery is just outside the hotel doors. Last, but not least is the breakfast at the hotel was very nice, don’t miss out on it!

We first visited the hotel 21 years ago on our honeymoon and paid another two visits a few years later but this was our first trip back in 15 years. The hotel has undergone major refurbishment and it has been done very well and tasteful. The rooms are tastefully redecorated with very comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Large LCD tvs are in the rooms but it would be good to have at least a couple of English news channels and maybe a movie channel considering the vast numbers of English speaking visitors to Paris. There is still no lift although the staff do say this will happen in the coming year and will obviously alleviate the need to haul suitcases up the flights of stairs. The hotel is in an excellent area, quiet but with good restaurants nearby and within easy walking distance of 2 Metro stations and the beautiful Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. All in all an excellent hotel, great location and good value for money.

Very cute,clean hotel. Beware however it has no air conditioning or elevator,. You will be carrying your luggage up the stairs. There is cool breeze but if you are a light sleeper, sleeping with the windows open would not be an option as it does get a bit noisy at night.

This hotel has NO AIR CONDITION!!! Overall it is a good hotel lots of restaurants in the area staff are friendly and helpful but the lack of AC complete down fall.

located in a mostly residential neighborhood, for a less touristy experience. For those who want to get as close to an authentic experience while traveling as possible, this is an excellent location. Convenient to many Metro lines, near several beautiful green spaces, cafes, boulangeries. Skip the hotel breakfast and go to one of the amazing local choices just down the block or across the street.

There was no lift and the room was on 4th floor, they charged us for a tea although there was no kettle in the room to make tea, also the room was small but clean and tidy, in pictures the room was different at the time of booking. Shower area was too small, blankets were so dirty that we had to ask for clean blankets and the staff was good they gave us cozy comforter

WITH NO ELEVATOR, WAS ABLE TO GET GROUND FLOOR FOR CONSIDERABLE EXPENSE UPGRADE. WORSE, ROOM HAD DANGEROUS STEP DOWN, WHICH I FELL OVER AND INJURED MYSELF. STAFF WAS HELPFUL WITH BANDAGE AND ANTISEPTIC. SHOULD HAVE MADE ANOTHER GESTURE OF ACCOMODATION.
