“Loved It!!!!”

The decor is lovely and comfortable. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Since we were staying seven nights we were given a "larger" room but it was on the street. They were very accomodating about moving us to another room away from the street. It was a bit smaller but very quiet and the view from our window of the art work was amazing. It was comfortable, clean and we were well cared for. We ate breakfast in the hotel each day, and although more expensive than going out, we got very special treatment. The people at the desk were great. The location of the hotel is great for walking - Jardin du Luxembourg is very close. The other transportation we used was the bus - we wanted to see the sights. There is a metro station very near the hotel. Being at this hotel was a delightful experience from start to finish.

“Absolutely Lovely”

We've stayed in the 6th before and wanted to try another hotel. This one was terrific. The staff were wonderful, the room was well appointed and the areas is close to RER, Metro, fabulous restaurants and within walking distance of the museums and sights. We liked the whimsical decor and the view from room 53!

“Definitely recommend it and would return in a heartbeat.”

What a delightful hotel! The staff (especially Henri and Julia and the owner Laurent) were very helpful and accommodating. They called cabs, booked a car service and made dinner reservations for us. They were always pleasant and never seemed put out by either our questions or requests. We had breakfast every day which was not only delicious but also healthy. We also had afternoon tea. Although the room was small by North American standards we never felt cramped. I would go back to-day if I could afford to. We absolutely loved our stay.

“Will stay in the hotel everytime I go to Paris”

This hotel was extraordinary. The staff was welcoming and informative. The room, although not large, was adequate for a stay in Paris. The bathroom was a work of art. The location, right next to the Luxembourg Gardens and the 6th district is perfect. The to stay at place in Paris.

“Wonderful hotel”

Excellent stay - staff were great, and the macarons are worth staying for all on their own! Will come back on my next trip to Paris!

“Fantastic hotel”

This hotel was lovely - from the staff who could not do enough to help, to the location. The hotel is perfectly situated to see the sights of Paris as the metro is about 1 - 2 minutes walk from the hotel as is the bus stop for the bus that takes you directly to the foot of the Eiffel Tour. We would definitely return to this hotel

“Great hotel”

Great little hotel, especially if you are a lover of art – a Giorgio de Chirico book was in our room, and an excellent selection of art books in the library. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the decor is excellent. The location is good too, just two minutes from the Vavin Metro station and only 5 minutes from the Raspail and Notre Dame des Champs stations. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area too. Avoid the expensive ones on Boulevard de Montparnasse and head instead for the those on the side streets. For example, there's an excellent small restaurant opposite the hotel run by Léo Dupont. It has no sign to tell you its name, except when shuttered for the night, when there's a 'Poetry in Wine' sign on the shutter. It has great food, great wine and is great value.

“Paris accomodation at its best!!!”

Perfect location 10 minutes from Luxembourg Gardens, weather was fab so able to enjoy the park with the best picnic in the world, french bread, cheese etc bliss. Hotel staff really helpful and pleasant. My only grump is the shower would not stay once raised, didnt have the heart to complain as everything else was so perfect. Very quiet room with no complaints. Good size room by Paris standards, would stay here again great location.
