Small?
A slightly cool reception, let’s call it efficient and professional. The lift is tiny (2 people 1small suitcase and it’s full). The room was small and the bathroom bijou (polite for minuscule) but speak and comfortable. This is a modern French hotel with French rooms in a city with space limitations.

Pour la taille des chambres, je vous comprends et c'est indépendant à notre volonté vue que la construction de notre établissement corresponde à l'ancien bâtiment style Parisien qu'on ne peut pas changer les mesures . Cependant, les dimensions des chambres sont bien précisées sur les sites de réservation. Par ailleurs, nous avons quelques grandes chambres aussi dans la catégorie Supérieure, Triple et Suite et que vous pouvez en disposer avec un supplément car les tarifs varient selon les catégories.

We were very disappointed with the conditions of the hotel. The place itself wasn’t clean, we got new towels that were folded dumped. The tiles on the toilet were falling literally with us standing on it. Found a big bit of hair on the toilet after our second day that weren’t ours. Breakfast wasn’t the best and the staff were doing laundry and services around the breakfast area at the time of breakfast. So we could hear and see and be around the staff doing their daily job while we were trying to eat our breakfast, which was very uncomfortable. WiFi never worked properly ( so we couldn’t rely on it at all) , both networks (guest and client).

We checked in late with our two young kids, and from the minute we walked through the door the alarm bells started ringing. Let’s start by saying that whoever took the photos for the advertisement would be better described as a magician rather than a photographer. If we hadn’t arrived late we would not have stayed here at all and made alternate arrangements. My partner took the kids up to the room while I arranged the bags and pram and struggled up to the 5th (top) floor in the tiny lift (I’ve no idea how I would have got them down the tight, steep staircase in an emergency). When I arrived in the smell in the room (a mixture of smoke and damp) was overpowering. The tiles were coming off the wall in the shower, there was mould around the windows, the room hadn’t been cleaned properly (sticky glass marks on bedside table) and the temperature was either freezing cold or hotter than hell. I explained to the night manager that this wasn’t acceptable and was unsafe for children and I’d like to change our stay to one night only he said there was nothing he could do until the morning when the manager arrived. It was late and at this hour we had no option but to sleep here (I never slept a wink on a disgusting sofa bed which was meant for me children, absolutely no chance) that night. As it turns out the day manager spun us the same story, that this would have to be referred to another manager who wasn’t available. In short, don’t stay here. We left ASAP!

Horrible property. Pictures on the website are very deceiving; bathroom is disgusting. Broken faucet left on the floor. Carpet is at least 30 years old. Sliding door broken, wouldn’t slide. sink broken& stained and water did not go down; no shower door. Water spilled everywhere. Hallways are disgusting. SHAME on you Expedia for allowing such a horrible hotel advertise on your website!

Wifi didn’t connect to internet. Shower was loosely fixed to the wall. Two power points in the room didn’t work. Light in the corridor outside the room didn’t work. Room was small but OK. Shower was minuscule and uncomfortable with not enough room to avoid the plastic shower curtain. Bed was reasonably comfortable!

This hotel is in my dream part of Paris, and we were excited to stay for a long weekend in Paris, but the hotel fell short of all our expectation. The elevator was broken and despite promises of repair all weekend, we had to lug our baggage up and down 5 flights of narrow stairs. The cleanliness was shocking. We found a pubic hair under our pillow upon arrival, which the staff quickly fixed by changing the bedding but the experience was still shocking. There was also a wet, used towel in the bathroom when we arrived and stains all over the carpet (unlike the photos). Our view was nice and the area was quiet, but we kept out shoes on inside the room and used our own antibacterial wipes to clean a few surfaces. The staff were all kind, but no one took accountability for the experience and we were offered nothing in return for it. I would not stay here again nor recommend it.

This property is not as advertised. The elevator is broken and I believe there is no intention to fix it. This meant 5 flights of very narrow stairs each time. We had a room for 4, and the toilet was in a different room than the sink and you had to squeeze by the end of the pull out bed to reach it. Example, one bed in one room with shower/sink, pullout couch in another room with toilet. Toilet room would be hard to stand in if over 5’10”. Air conditioning turned off during the day, meaning very hot when returning to room. Sheets had a stain on them. Very small luggage storage, would only hold a few bags, could be an issue if multiple bookings needed it. I love the neighbourhood, and unfortunately the hotel we wanted was booked so we took a chance on this one but I would not recommend it, nor would I return.

Bonjour , Nous sommes assez surpris de votre commentaire, étant donnée que nos chambres répondent à des normes hôtelières 3 étoiles strictes. Nous avons pourtant tout mis en place pour optimiser l’espace et apporter tous les services haut de gamme à nos clients : literie neuve de qualité 4*, wifi haut débit gratuit, fenêtres double vitrage pour une isolation optimum, TV avec chaînes internationales et thématiques et produits d’accueil. Ainsi nous avons créé une vraie maison parisienne et non un hôtel standardisé. De plus nous avons changé les moquettes et les têtes de lit, notre équipe tient à cœur de satisfaire les besoins et demandes de chaque client.

Great location!
I stayed with two friends and we really enjoyed the location! Really close to Gare Montparnasse and Edgar Quinet. The area is trendy, and has no shortage of restaurants. The staff ALWAYS greeted us when leaving and returning, they even stored our bags prior to check-in and after check-out. The Triple room that we got was smaller than it appeared in the pictures but that’s my only comment. I would stay here again!

Excellent service. A short walk to Edgar Quinet station. A bit tight for 4 people once sofa bed unfolded, but it's Paris and rooms are tradionally small.

Possibly the worst hotel i've ever stayed in. On a side street with a lap dance club next door and a noisy bar. Staff were ok. Room was shabby to say the least. Looked like carpet had been spar painted and not a very job. Bathroom was a tiny wetroom with peeling paint. Shower poor. Nowhere to hang a coat or damp towel. Only good points were comfy bed and decent air-conditioning. Nice area a couple of streets away where i wished i had booked. At £150 per night excluding breakfast i would definitely never return

The bathroom is not clean, the tiles are broken and have crack, smells bad. the shower is very tight and drain is at the middle so you have to stand over the drain. At noon, I asked for extra blanket because the room was cold, the reception told me OK, and nothing happened. On my way out at 5 pm I asked the same man at reception, " why you did not send the blanket?" he told me that he did not understand !!!! after repeating my request he told me that there are extra blankets at the closet, when I returned back I discovered that that there are no extra blankets and he lied to me. I discovered that the heater of the room is shut down, after opening it the room became warm and I did not need a blanket. The price is very high compared to all other hotels in my trip and the hotel is very low quality than all other . Same man at the reception asked me if I want breakfast for 13.30 euros !! it is very expensive than all hotels I used in my trip . I did not like it at all ..

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. There are problems with the service ( I argued with the reception because my air conditionner was not working and at the end I realized that it was the guy in the reception who turned that off three times and he said he did that because the temperatures were not very low and imagine It was 3 of january), cleanness ( I ask to change my towels because they had forgotten to do that) and the hot water in the bathroom ( it was the first time that I saw a hotel where the hot water was limited. I had shower twice, firstly when I enter the room and secondly when I was back in the hotel after the dinner, and at the second time the hot water finished. Such a shame!). Do yourself a favor and choose another hotel.

Completely misrepresented by website.
Completely misrepresented by website. Cramped and dingy. Water leaked out of bathroom. Sad little lobby. All of which might have been acceptable for the price if the website abc promo had not shown something totally different. Montparnasse is a fun neighborhood.

Dear Customer We are very surprised by this very bad review of our hotel. We make every effort to ensure that your stay is as smooth as possible. The hotel has been renovated 5 years ago and our rooms have a refined decoration and our shower rooms are very small but very functional. Regarding our website it is in the image of our establishment and its quality. Such a comment is really bad. If you really did not like it, we had to talk to our receptionists who are at your disposal and not on a network that tarnishes our reputation.

The Hotel was located in a nice area with a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. It was also very close to a big metro station which made getting downtown and to the airport very easy. Also in good walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens. The staff was nice and available 24/7 which was great for our early morning check out. Our room was okay - it was decorated nicely and the bed was comfortable but quite small and with thin walls. The bathroom especially was tiny and showering got water all over the bathroom floor. Although there was housekeeping, it was not very thorough. We got fresh towels every day, but the bedsheets were never changed. There was also no ability to control the temperature of the room. Our room was pretty stuffy so we had to choose between a stuffy room or opening the windows with no screen and dealing with bugs and noise from outside.

Great staff. Great location to travel either rive gauche or rive droite. Great access to railways and airports. Things working properly. Well managed but can't hide it's old. Reasonable rates. Had a big bed in a small room. Small shower room.

Character and quirky
We were at the top and had a view of Sacre Coeur in the distance from the bathroom window. It was easy to bang your head on the beams! Lovely big bed. Shower was a bit makeshift but fine for a one night stay.

Good value for money and great location. 24hr service and staff helpful. It is in a quiet area and great access to oe of.the main train stations. We would stay here again. Room is small and the guests in the next toom were noisy but that is not the fault of.the hotel.

Paris stay
The hotel was what I expected for Paris. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower was so low that I didn’t feel like I got a good shower. The location is great it’s close to public transportation, grocery store and many restaurant choices.

Location is great - such a nice area, the room was small but well appointed. only problem was the smell - a bit 'drainy' - possible from the wet room. and the shower rail needed fixing -

Staff was good but rooms are too small to even open your trolly bags. for bathroom you can only stand even cannot move.
