“Perfect hotel right by Eiffel Tower”
My experience at the Hotel Bourdonnais was absolutely perfect. The staff went out of their way to make our accommodations, had amazing suggestions and were overall very kind. The room itself is small yet spacious and the beds are reasonably comfortable. My experience was wonderful and I would recommend the hotel to anyone!
“Gret Location!”
I stayed there with my husband and 14 year old son in November 2011. It was a special bday presie for my husband and we decided to go for a weekend to Paris. The De La Bourdonnais is very convenient and extremelly close to all great sites in Paris. The staff were very good and overall a great experience.
“The room is cold”
This is an old hotel which appeared decent in its decor. I got a double room which is good size. The basic conditions of the room are all OK. The biggest problem is however, that the heating wouldn't work and they fitted an air-conditioner in the room which bearly heats actually. My guess is that they didn't want to spend money on insulation. However surging heating bill pushed them to fit air-conditioners instead.
“Family Time in Paris”
Excellent place to stay for young family as convenient to the Eiffel Tower, Ecole Militaire and metro etc. Supermarket next door and lots of places to eat and walk that you can mix and match (high and low). We stayed in a quadruple room on the bottom floor which accommodated our family of 4 including a 2 year old and 8 year old. If convenience and comfort is what you are after with a young family this is the place to stay.
“Hotel Near the Eiffel Tower”
The best thing about this hotel is its location, about 6-7 blocks from the Eiffel Tower, with great bistros a few blocks away on Rue de Cler and Rue St Dominique. If you get a street side room you'll get a view of the tower peaking over the tops of the buildings across the street, which is spectacular. The room itself was decent enough (the bathroom in particular was spacious, modern, and clean). The breakfast is a tad pricy for what you get: cereal, coffee, and some pastries. Much better fare is available a few blocks away. The staff is friendly enough.
“What to say?”
Nothing special about this hotel. Flavorless!
“great location”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was wonderful for the places we wished to visit. It was near a hop on/off bus stop which made it even better. The breakfast was rather expensive, but that is true of any area during tourist season. Thank you!
“Will definitely go back again!”
We had a fabulous time in our short stay in Paris and at Hotel de La Bourdonnais. We are a family of 4 and has been told that rooms in Paris hotels can be really small but the room size was just right. Requested a room with a view and we definitely had one with a view of the Eiffel Tower! We also had a small terrace/balcony in our bedroom. Location was great in a quiet neighborhood but only about 5-10 minute walk to the famous Eiffel Tower. Hotel De La Bourdonnais is highly recommended and we will definitely go back again..
“Next time I go to Paris ...”
... I'll stay at Hotel la Bourdonnais. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The hotel is steps from a Metro stop (the easiest way to get around in Paris). And it's about a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The room was clean and much larger than others I've seen in Europe.
“"Prime position".”
The Hotel la Bourdonnaise, was just what a family of four needed ,for a reasonably priced, close to attractions, week away in Paris. So easy to find and only a short walk to the Metro and Eiffel Tower. We were very happy with our choice of hotel and would recommend it to anyone. *****.
