Hotel is in like new condition because room recently renovated. Beds are comfortable, shower and toilet area are clean, room service everyday. Breakfast was very good. Staffs are very helpful and nice. Convenient to metro station, about 10 minutes walk. I would recommend this hotel.

great location, friendly staff, relatively affordable compared to other hotels in the area. definitely would recommend for anyone traveling to Paris and wanting a good central location from which to explore Paris.

Horrible experience. Check in at 2pm, got there at 5pm they didn’t give me the room till 8pm. People were waiting in the lobby for so many hours. Got my room at 8pm, full of dust, dirty, broken hairdryer, broken bathroom cupboards. I have booked a double room queen size and I’ve got a 140cm bed in a single room. Wasted 2h on the phone with Expedia customer service and they proposed a 70€ voucher lol. Left the hotel. After sending pictures and videos with the room, Expedia decided to refund. Not the best customer service either. Will never book anything again with Expedia.

Good location, small hotel
The hotel is within walking distance of The Eiffel Tower (35 minutes) and The Louvre (20 minutes). Rooms were clean and updated but small. Extra amenities were almost non-existent. Breakfast buffet was functional and pricey. Room rates were very reasonable for the area. Plan on walking because I saw no obvious place to park a car or catch a taxi. Numerous restaurants in the area. Ability of staff to speak English was mixed.

Amazing Value. Amazing staff. Amazing location.
We had such a great stay here. It's located right in the heart of the swanky shopping area of Paris, so the area is clean, safe, and architecturally beautiful all around. Next, the staff... Such a kind, helpful group of people! Eager to chat and share a story or two, as well. These people are hospitality personified. Then there's the room... I thought we were going to get a postage-stamp sized room, considering the swanky location right in the heart of Paris. However, I was really happy to find a fairly large, modern, well appointed room, with easily enough room for a family of four (kids are 8 and 10) and lots of natural light via 2 large opening windows (careful of little kids, tho). Getting around? Metro is right outside. The Batobus is a 5-minute walk, The Louvre and Arc are easily walkable, and we even walked to the Eiffel Tower. Shopping and food from all over the world is only a block or two away. This is THE location. Any quibbles? Hmmm... Well.... I guess there was a crack in one of the shower tiles? That's all I can think of. Seriously.

We booked triple room with 3 single beds. We were given a double room with a single bed squeezed between the double bed and wall with no gap between them. We refused to stay in the room so had to be relocated to another hotel. Wasted a lot of valuable sightseeing time as we were only there fo 2 nights.

Warning!!!!Check is not at 1pm like they say.Is starting at 1pm..We stay at the reception two hours before they let us in… The stuff is not friendly and they don’t have time for you.Rooms are extremely small..We are a family (two parents and two kids) and they give us a extremely small room with one double bed and one sofa—bed …So no place to move around the room….Good location…Think twice before booking!!!!

Very nice room with very nice location. On a quiet street with tons of designer stores so it was nice to walk around there. Only complaint is their breakfast. We opted to pay extra and it was literally the most disgusting food ever. They had an "omelette" which was raw and looked like soup. Not a buffet like they described at all. Anyways stay here for the room. Don't get the breakfast.

The best location you could ever get, clean, friendly front desk, good speed free wifi, recently renovated. However, the only down size is that the rooms are a bit small, especially our that had balcony; maybe there are some bigger ones. But let’s be honest no ones goes to Paris to seat in the room. The mattress is excellent, overall the experience was great, and I would definitely return to Hotel Castiglione.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and this time I was disappointed that there were no English programes on the TV. In the past there was CNN, BBC, French 24 in english, when I asked at the front counter I was informed that they do not have this option anymore.
