“Great location”
This hotel is in a great location. It is close to all the good restaurants and bars. In my opinion, this area of Paris is the best, trendy area. The only drawback for this hotel is that it is in the middle of "all the action". A little like having a room on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras! The rooms are very small, but beautifully decorated with modern, marble bathrooms. The hotel staff were very accommodating. We had a great time.
“Excellent location”
Wonderful location. Vibrant street. Walking distance to many of the famous sites. Not cheap. Rooms are small by US standards but sufficient.
“Quaint Hotel”
Great hotel of six floors in terrific location! Situated in a happening location and steps from Ile de la Cite, Louvre, River Seine, Pantheon, Jardin de Luxembourg, etc. Steps from Rue de St Germain, too. We arrived early (0800) and since the room was ready they let us check in and get to our room. Room was a little small but we expected that at time of booking. Besides, we went to Paris to to the city, not the room. Everything was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the St Germain / Latin Quarters area. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay here again.
“Small rooms for a 4* Hotel”
The location is good, but the Hotel is overpriced for the room size and service. Also breakfast at this Hotel in the basement is very expensive, so it is better to walk across the street to Chez Paul and have breakfast with a view of the street for half the price. Also internet was not working for two days.....
“The great Paris Hotel de Buci !”
The room was great. We loved the A/C. The only problem was with the bath tub/shower. My mother, at age 66, had a hard time getting up into and down and out of the tub/shower. She has a poor knee. We would also have like English translation/subtitles for the French t.v. channels. We only had two English speaking channels. Both of which were 24hr news channels --- BBC news and CNN. But other that those issues, we kept saying to ourselves what a great hotel choice we made.
“Tres Chic”
It was the most amazing hotel experience.
“Wonderful Hotel in Heart of Saint Germaine”
This is a fine hotel in the heart of the Saint Germain. Staff was wonderful, room was nice albeit small. Four rooms on each floor. Recommend the rooms away from the street, as the action goes late.
“Small room but great location!”
The location of this hotel was key! It was in the perfect location to walk all over Paris. It was very easy to get there from the airport on the Metro. Although we arrived really early - our room wasn't ready until 2pm but that ended up being ok because we were able to explore the neighborhood and have breakfast. The staff was incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations and even made all of our reservations for us. They also assisted with purchasing concert tickets. Our room was unbelievably small (fit a double bed, small desk & chair) but very cozy and although it looked out onto the street - the windows were virtually soundproof. For the price I was expecting a bigger room but all in all we were very happy with the hotel.
“Great Hotel, Great location”
My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel de Buci for part of our honeymoon in April. We arrived early into Paris, before our check in time. They said it would be abount an hour while they cleaned the room. They held our bags while we went to breakfast. When we returned our room was ready early to check in. We had the deluxe room, which I would recommend. We had room for our bags and to walk around. It is not by any means a large room like the U.S. but very comfortable for Europe sizes. Breakfast comes with your stay. They have eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, croissants, meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, juices, and yogurt every morning. The location of the hotel is perfect! You can walk up the street to Notre Dame, The Louve, and Lexington Gardens. The Eiffle Tower and Arch de Triomphe are a short ride on the Metro. There are tons of restaurants, cafe's, and bars all around this location. The staff if super friendly and very helpful. They all speak English pretty well and gave us directions anywhere we wanted to go. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is getting room service. We ordered this one night when we were tired of site seeing all day and they did not understand our order and sent up the wrong items. Besides this, everything else was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Not Impressed”
Room is extremely small. there is no room to move at all. there is no door for the shower so each time we took one there was water all over the floor. the location is convenient but then when stay in the 6eme arrondissement, every hotel location is. Knowing that we will arive early to Paris(8:00am) I calle dthe hotel asking for an early check in, the receptionist answered me:" we can not ask a client to leave his room early so you can check in early!!!" I would never get such an snswer here in the USA.
