Does the job

Nice staff. Annoying that you are not allowed food in the rooms, nor do they have kettles. Excellent Patisserrie / Brasserie nearby!!!

Comfortable and Clean

Overall an excellent hotel, short walk to the metro. One small issue was the thin walls, we could hear everything in the next room.

Very nice hotel, Great Value

Posted 23-Feb-2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is nicely situated in a quiet cove. The walk to the metro 4 Alesia stop is 10 minutes doorstep to platform. The 4 line runs straight to Gare du Nord with no transfers. The RER Blue line has a stop 2 stops from Alesia and the transfer is easy if you are coming/going from CDG or Orly (45-mins to 1 hour ride doorstep to doorstep with RER transfer). The room was clean, the shower and bathroom modern and updated with good water pressure. Daily room cleaning, fresh towels etc. Room is a nice size with ample room for the two of us and our luggage - bags sized to fit under airplane seats, not the gargantuan suitcases some people drag around. Did not eat the offered breakfast. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Helpful kind staff, speaks English. Great value!

Superb hotel away from the tourist hot spots

Small, friendly hotel located in a very quiet side street, but only five minutes walk to the Alesia tube. English spoken. Rooms larger than you expect for Paris and refurbished en suite bathroom. Lots of facilities and shops nearby, and excellent Art Deco restaurant (Le Zeyer) to eat at within a few minutes walk.
