“I'd go back”

I've stayed in about a dozen places in Paris that would qualify in the moderate price range hotel catagory. I scour Trip Advisor and Expedia looking for the best places. I still go in expecting the worst. This is one of the top two moderate priced hotels I've found. Surprisingly quiet and well appointed, it looks to have been recently renovated. Can't think about anything negative. You even get to keep your room key (card) when you leave the hotel. While not the Shangri-La, it is a solid place and might even surprise you at the value for your Euro.

“Big Disappointment”

This dated hotel is not as it appears in photographs. The rooms are tiny with worn out carpets, bedding and bathroom fixtures. The atmosphere is dingy and the rooms do not feel clean. From the lobby to the elevators the entire hotel needs to be upgraded desperately, especially considering the asking price for the rooms. There are much better choices close by for less money.

“Very nice hotel close to Sorbonne”

Hotel Central Saint Germain was a very reasonable priced hotel, very close to the Sorbonne. The hotel exceeded all expectations in terms of service, comfort, and value for the price. Less than 100euros/night, safe area, free WIFI, and within walking distance of great food, bars, nightlife, and sights. Also have a shuttle service from the hotel direct to the airport for departure. Room was clean, and the bed very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, and look forward to staying there again on my next visit.

“Paris weekend”

A very clean well presented hotel, with friendly staff, all speaking English. Rooms are small but more than adequate and in good decor. Located in an ideal tourist area. Very close to Notre Dame and The Louvre. Easy access to transport, with two bus stops very close to the hotel and metro railway station within short walking distance. Plenty of friendly good value restaurants nearby serving breakfast, lunch and dinners. A superb 3 days in Paris. Thank you.

“Very pleased”

We were very pleased with the hotel location, service and cleanliness. The room was a bit cozy for three of us, but no smaller than expected. I would not recommend the breakfast - better food for a better price is available nearby. Close to the Metro, restaurants and shopping. Walking distance to many Paris highlights.

“Great location, great find”

Triple room was a bit small for three people but typical for European hotels; it was comfortable and clean; bathroom was quite spacious. Persons at desk spoke decent English and were friendly but some had limited tourist knowledge - e.g., restaurants in the area to recommend. Location of hotel was excellent for getting around on metro

“Hotel i meget fredelige omgivelser men tæt på forretningsgade”

Vi har haft 4 overnatninger på dette hotel, og har i det store hele været meget tilfredse. Det ligger på en lille, fredelig vej, hvor der stort set ikke kører noget trafik, selvom den store butiksgade kun er et stenkast derfra. Værelserne er fint indrettet med parisisk interieur, men de MEGET små -der er stort set kun lige plads til en seng. Skal man dog ikke opholde sig mere end højst nødvendigt på værelset, er størrelsen ikke et problem. Sengen er noget kort, vi lå begge med fødderne ude over den.. Man skal ikke spise morgenmaden på hotellet, den er alt for dyr, og den er bestemt ikke det værd.
