Very nice hotel.

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Pros: Excellent, friendly staff.
Cons: Bathroom could use a little work.
Location: Close to metro and great Thursday morning street market. Was walking distance to many locations, cafes and shops.
This was a great location to use as a home base to see Paris.

Great value. Super location.

Nice cosy hotel with super helpful and friendly staff. Great location with a pleasant 5 minute walk to great food / sights and and entertainment. Would definately stay there again when in Paris. Bright rooms that are kept really clean. On sight breakfast is good value (if you eat up big) but there's plenty of places to eat in the area.

Clean friendly hotel in a pleasant area

Posted 12-Mar-2014
Pros: Clean bright room, helpful staff
Cons: The towels and the addition of tea/coffee making facilities
Location: Good location. Nearby market stalls (maybe just at the weekend?) good shops and lovely park/square close by
This hotel is in a nice part of Paris. It is close to some lovely shops and a beautiful park/square. We were there at the weekend and there was a vast market along a nearby main road. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful and the room clean and bright. The bed and linen was lovely however the bath towels were a little thin and small. There was a mini bar but no tea/coffee making facilities.

Location ok, room tiny

Posted 03-Mar-2014
Pros: staff was friendly and it was located close to metro and the Bastille, but still a 15 to 20 min walk to Bastille
Cons: room size, hotel bar or just get rid of it, put some pictures on the wall, was too sterile and smelled of paint
Location was good, but not great. Room was tiny, i have even had larger rooms in Tokyo and New York for half the price, with better locations. Barely had room to move around the bed and in the bathroom. Hotel bar is simply a table of bottles of booze in the lobby that you can buy a drink from, and the 24 hour room service was simply meals/snacks they would deliver and you have to microwave it yourself. Definitely not what i considered 3 star, and most definitely NOT quality for the price we paid

Terrible hotel -Avoid

Posted 07-Feb-2014
Wifi is advertised as available throughout the hotel - none was available in the rooms, the safe in my room didn't work so I had no where to leave my valuables, the room was located out the back of the hotel through a courtyard and up a steep flight of stairs and was no where near the size of the room in the booking, it was small cold and the ac/heat didn't work. The toilet was so small it was impossible to sit on it, not enough towels were available for 1 person never mind 2. The tv was tiny and impossible to view anything, noise from staff chatting downstairs throughout the day and construction noise from nearby.

Good 2 Night Stay.

Posted 20-Jan-2014
Pros: Modern furnishings, Clean, Great for a 3 star hotel.
Stayed for 2 nights. Very clean and well maintained hotel. Room very small but still big enough. One point annoyed me though. I waited for the lift for a while and informed the hotel staff it wasn't moving. They told me that the cleaners hold the lift door open for their convenience and that I would have to use the stairs. This happened on more than one occasion and I wondered how people who were unable to use the stairs would have access to their rooms whilst the cleaners are cleaning.

Safe & clean location for female travellers

Posted 19-Jan-2014
We had our two nights stay at the hotel, the staff spoke great English and provided supurbly friendly service beyond expectation. It felt very safe to walk home for two girls at the end of our day around 10-11pm and with reliable staff. A short walk of 10-15 then you can go to the shops & restaurants around Bastille station. The only minor comment would be there is no kettle provided for us to make a hot drink at night. However the staff were so nice they would bring some hot water over in a thermal within 5 mins. Overall it's a very clean and chic hotel which is safe for female travellers for exploring Paris!

Minimalistic & Efficient

Posted 05-Jan-2014
Pros: Good location and EXTREMELY great staff (very nice and very helpful). The room is clean and minimalistic, nothing fancy but gets the job done.
Cons: The room was very cold and took a while to heat up, so I left the heat on when I went out during the day and it was nice and warm when I returned.
Location: Various metro stops close by.
Apparently the hotel had late checkouts so although check in was at 3pm, I ended up waiting in the small hotel lobby (there are chairs) until about 4-4:30pm. The hotel staff was extremely nice and apologetic and kept updating me on how much longer it would be, without me having to ask, and they kept offering me complimentary beverages while I waited. I was offered to leave my luggage and return later but I was tired and wanted to freshen up a little before I left to explore the city. The staff gave great suggestions on where to go and what to see. Had the staff not been as great as they were, I probably would have been irritated by the delay but their kindness made up for the delay in checking in. This is not a fancy hotel but I liked it because it was clean and minimalistic, with various metro stops close by, and I hardly spent any time at the hotel so I wasn't looking for anything fancy.
