A lovely Hotel, with excellent helpful staff.

Posted 21-Mar-2014
Pros: Friendly staff, quaint Hotel tastfully decorated, clean, breakfast included.
Cons: You can't, not enough space.
Location: In the Repuplique, 3Rd arrondisment, Metro close gets you everywhere quickly.
The Hotel Angely, is a very special quirky hotel, the design of the rooms is unusual, they obviously have tried to use all the space available in a very tasteful way, we had probably the smallest room in the hotel as we were on a tightish budget but it was fine. The bathroom had just a walk in shower but it was designed well

Pros: The hotel staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great. Boiled eggs, pastries and coffee - perfect.
Cons: The lack of horizontal space in the room was inconvenient because we stayed for 3 nights and could not really unpack.
Location: Close to the Metro, amazing hot chocolate (Jacques Genin), and a 15-minute walk to the Jewish Quarter / Le Marais shopping district.
A positive experience overall. A typical small Parisian hotel room, but we didn't need to play suitcase tetris. The bathroom was modern and very clean; and the bed very comfortable.

Modern and Great Location

Posted 09-Dec-2013
Me and my wife stayed here for our 1st Anniversary in December 2013. The staff were fantastic and couldn't be more helpfull through out our stay. The hotel is modern but classic in style. It's 2-3min walk to Republic Metro station and a great location to get to all the sights of Paris. We will definitely stay here again.

Great boutique hotel

Posted 01-Dec-2013
Pros: The breakfast, staff (Reuben) and the hotel decor
Cons: Sometimes the cleaning staff would try to enter the room while we were still having breakfast or getting ready.
Location: Close to Republique metro station (a train straight to the Eiffel Tower)
The hotel was a perfect little place for couples. Friendly staff especially Reuben. The location of this hotel was close to the Republique train station, many restaurants and patisseries. Full french breakfast in bed every morning was a great way to start each day.

Excellent!

We stayed here for 7 days during our honeymoon. The atmosphere was amazing, very creative design in the hall, stairs, and rooms all throughout. Considering it is Paris, the room size was great, free wifi and breakfast with croissants to die for! Little streets around are great for pleasant walks, several grocery stores, along with many shops and restaurants with different cuisine.Metro station is only 10 min walk. Service was good too, clean rooms, friendly staff, etc. The only drawback is relatively small bathroom (but you can manage). We had a great time and would recommend to any couple!

Very pleasant stay

Location: 100 meter from the close Metro (Oberkampf or Republic), very easy to get from the airport (RER B and then Line-5 Palace d'Italie)
Hotel stuff was exceptionally helpful, and went out there way to recommend and assist. The hotel was renovated lately, and as so was very modern and neat

Disappointing

Posted 18-Sep-2013
The room itself was tiny with minimal room to place even one suitcase. The little bathroom had no place to leave a toiletry bag. There was not a news channel in English on the TV. On a positive note: the location and the breakfast were good, and the staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Great hotel for seeing around central Paris.

Posted 01-Jul-2013
Pros: Staff service and the hotels good condition.
Cons: None
Location: The location is excellent for being central and having good transport links.
The service was faultless, rooms very clean and comfortable with a good standard of decor. The hotel is in a quiet street near Rebublique area and has two metro stations nearby with good linkls. There are also good restaurants and shops nearby. It's a hotel in a traditional building but has been recently renovated and modernised inside. Overall an easy hotel to recommend.

Very groiwn up hotel, ideal for romance!

Posted 11-Jun-2013
Pros: Charming but quirky
Cons: Small wardrobe, too short for dresses
Location: Quiet central location close to tube, attractions and local restaurants and bars.
Pleasant lady on reception on arrival who was very professional and helpful. The room was lovely if a bit whacky but hey we knew that before we booked! Brand new top of the range shower room with massive shower head and smaller one with cute lighting between each tiles. Breakfast very good and plenty of it. All top quality ingredients. They would even spoil you with breakfast in bed if asked! Centrally located within a few minutes walk of Republic tube and also close to restaurants and bars. Would repeat and stay again if in Paris in the future. Excellent!
