Ottimo Hotel per una gita fuori porta

Posted 14-Apr-2015

Posted 10-Apr-2015
Pros: Das Personal.
Nettes Hotel, sehr zentral gelegen. Keine 4 min.

Good location

Posted 05-Feb-2015
Pros: The room with balcony, the tea and coffee making facility.
Cons: The wallpaper in room a little bit tired but nothing much.
Location: Good location, near station for Eurostar and metro for getting about
Had a great time staying at this hotel. Chose it because close to gare du nord station when arriving and close to republique square for metro, eating etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Got a room on 5th floor with balcony as I had requested. Lots of hot water for soak in bath at end of a busy day and having kettle in room was a great touch to make a quick drink as needed. Would stay there again.

Location close to Metro

Posted 12-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
We stayed for three nights here, having stayed in the hotel two years previously. It is in a great location, close to Metro and you can walk to sightseeing attractions. Staff speak fluent English and are very helpful. Security at the hotel is good, and this is a comfort because there are a few homeless people in the vicinity (sadly there are a lot of homeless people in Paris). Would recommend staying here.

Schönes Hotel aber

Posted 04-Jan-2015

Was nice. Really clean and good for the money. Our room was odd with a pole in the middle of it, but other than that it was good.

Hotel Aida Marais Nov 13-21, 2014

Posted 23-Nov-2014 on Hotels.com
Friendly staff, excellent access to metro (subway) at Place Republique via very short walk. Make VERY sure you memorize where Rue Chateau d'Eau is on the corner of Republique branching off of Rue Magenta or you will go in circles looking for it. We ate at bistro L'Evidence on the corner the first night, I asked for plain old water (I don't drink) and got served two bottles of Evian mineral water at 4 € (5 $) each. I didn't go back there, even though the food was good and we were in Paris eight nights. Ask for "Un carafe d'Eau" to get free water with meals. We were there in November, the radiator heat was set high and I used the A/C to battle the radiator until I found the radiator control down by the floor. My wife fell in LOVE with the huge overhead shower head in the ceiling. If you exit the hotel and head left down the street for a couple blocks you will find a semi-hidden small market on your left at a corner and also a bistro where we enjoyed omelets mixte (cheese and ham) in the morning. The bistro is called La Réveil du 10ème and is very French. We used the boulangarie/patisserie immediately adjacent to the hotel for evening purchases of baguettes and Amandines and Millefeuilles (yum!) for consumption in our room. We got around everywhere using the metro. We bought a five day pass. We enjoyed our stay and will spend two more nights at Aida Marais starting Dec 10th.
