“Fantastic hotel near Place des Vosges”
Very impressed with Hostellerie du Marais and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris. Room was spacious and it appeared that the bathroom (with full tub) had been recently renovated. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Free wi-fi. Conveniently located about two blocks from Place des Vosges and short walk to Marais shops and the St. Paul metro stop. Many cafes nearby and the monoprix about a five minute walk. Great value for the price.
“Very satisfied”
My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Hostellerie Du Marais. The beds were extremely comfortable and we liked the decor. After a long day of sightseeing for four days, we looked forward to sleeping in our beds. We recommend adding a mini-frig and coffee maker in the room though. The elevator didn't always work, but the room was exceptional and the hotel is in a prime location. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend several days in the heart of Paris.
“Average hotel in Paris”
The hotel was very convinient and in a great location. The room was a little on the smaller side but that is to be expected in Paris. There was a young lady that was downstairs and very helpful, however there was also a man that worked the lobby during the day time and he did not want to do anything or give any advice. So if you are relying on the hotel for advice, hope you get the lady instead of the guy.
“Nice Hotel, nice location.”
The Hotel itself was very nice, well appointed and clean--all mandatory qualities when I choose a hotel. We got a very good rate for the room through Expedia--and we thought the Hotel offered good value for the money spent. However, had we paid the regular rack rate, I think the experience would not have measured up to our expectations. I found the staff to be polite at best, and begrudgingly helpful. No warm and fuzzy feelings to be found. The breakfast was pretty minimal for the cost and if I had to do it over, I would have walked to the bakery on the corner that was offering a more interesting choice for breakfast at less cost. Yes, I would recommend the Hotel, but probably not a the full price rate.
“Fabulous Paris hotel”
Wonderful clean and modern room. Super comfortable bed, secure hotel, extremely courteous and friendly staff. Breakfast available in the downstairs dining room was delicious and a great deal.
“Great Bargain in the Marais”
The Hostellerie du Marais provided a clean, convenient and quiet room on the very pleasant Rue de Turenne (many shops and restaurants, and pedestrian only on Sunday). The staff were friendly and helpful. All desk staff speak English. The single room was small with a large comfortable bed, small desk and chair. The bath was clean, bright and modern. The location is near the St Paul Metro, the Place des Vosges, Bastille Opera, Victor HugoMuseum and Carnavalet. Definitely worth keeping in mind when staying in this part of Paris.
“excellent choice in The Marais”
great location, helpful staff, very comfortable bed with crisp linens. we enjoyed this hotel very much and i will stay there again if i can.
“A nice hotel in the Marais”
This hotel is a good choice if you get a good price. Pros: *exceptional* location, quiet street (so even street-facing rooms are noise-free), competent, multi-lingual and helpful staff, modern bathroom fixtures, comfortable beds, in-room safes. (NB: I did NOT try the food). Cons: the rooms (and everything else in the hotel) are small. Not much storage space in the room (and no proper storage space for bags when you check out). Inflexible about alte check-out. And the cleaning staff are a bit slow. When I left some luggage on the last day at the front desk, they didn't want to hang on to my laptop, and finally did so after I waived their liability for it. Not really a sensible policy in today's age. They need to find some secure luggage storage space.
“Hostellerie Du Marais - centrale e comodissimo”
Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, centrale e vicino alla metropolitana. Perfetto per chi vuole visitare Parigi in pochi giorni.
“En pärla i marais”
Kan inte bo mkt bättre än så här, precis runt knuten från place des vosges, mitt i maraiskvarteren med sina små boutiquer och mysiga restauranter.
