Convenient base to enjoy Disney. We had a hire car which worked well so can’t comment re shuttle. Rooms clean and tidy when we arrived but communal areas like toilet facilities and hallways outside rooms not in a good state.

The hotel itself was really good in every aspect, it was clean had food options and decent breakfast, only thing I didn’t like and it’s a big thing was the shuttle bus to the park, this shuttle serves about 6 hotels and sometimes you can’t even get on it it’s so busy don’t stay for the fireworks because you might not get back with around 200 people waiting for the last bus as we found out just lucky there was a extra one, as I said totally nothing wrong with hotel but they need to get there own shuttle bus or share with one other hotel not 6

The softplay area and outdoor playground were good. Our room had one window overlooking the bar/social area. Unfortunately you can't open the window. On our second night we complained about not being able to open the window. We were never offered an alternate room, though later on the receiption staff insisted that we did but refused it. On the same night the safe was broken. It took the handyman over an hour to come up to the room to look at it. He said he could come and fix it the next morning - it took two days to fix. On the third night, when we came back to the hotel at 9pm (having been out since 8.30am), the heating was on full blast and the aircon was switched off entirely so we couldn't turn it on. when we complained the receiptionist said that we had requested that (another lie). The room was so hot that our 3 and 6 year olds were crying. They offered us another room on a lower floor, but it was 10pm and we didn't what to haul everything to another floor. They said that there were no other rooms on our floor but after ten minutes of arguing one was magically available. The manager was rude, the staff were disinterested and the food in the Captain's Library was disgusting - cold chips and burnt burgers. They couldn't even get the order right. whatever you do, avoid room 9547. Oh, the shuttle service is always overcrowded with people fighting to get on.

Stayed in a family room, the room was a good size and beds were comfortable. Kids loved the swimming pool although it was cold. The issue we had was with the plantation buffet, it was a really poor selection for the price and the service wasn’t good. The same with breakfast, only a continental option.

Explorers is an ideal location for the Disney parks and trains to Paris. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean. Facilities are outstanding for children, the water slides in the pool were very good as was the indoor soft play and outdoor park. There’s pizza and crepes, hot dogs and sandwich’s available with drinks. There’s also a bar area. The included continental breakfast was excellent, fresh baked rolls and pastries selection of meats and cheese, salads and various jams etc with plenty seating available. There’s a large supermarket 1.5km away, you’ll find all local taxi’s are a flat fare of €20 but and Uber was €12 you can walk it’s a straight road.

We had a late night check in and the receptionist was less than friendly. Other than that the hotel was as expected and ideal for our 3 night stay to go to Disney.

We paid in advance yet on check in they were so disorganized they forced us to pay again saying it was not paid. On checked out they realized the error and said they would refund the money. More than a week later I am still waiting and they will not respond to the email i sent following up.

We were not told when booking that we had to pay 15€ per day for parking at the hotel, this was our 5th annual stay at this hotel and we’ve never had to pay to park at the booked hotel before! Expedia should have told is about this upfront but never, shame in you!

Perfect stay for a family of four when visiting Disneyland. Great room with enough space for adults and children. 5-10 minutes away from Disneyland and Disney Village including shops and restaurants. Awesome facilities including swimming pool, arcade, restaurant(s), 4D cinema and candy bar. You won’t be bored there. Can only recommend if looking for a good option to stay near Disneyland.

When I booked the room it was to be in Canadian dollars. When I arrived I was charged in Euros for the cost of the room. When I booked it said on the website in Canadian funds. This really set me back and almost ruined my trip. This was very misleading. Paying almost double what I had booked.

When we arrived there was a power outage that we received no notification about or updates about how long it would last. This outage lasted the whole night and when power was brought back it was abruptly shut down and short circuted my outlet extender so I had to buy a new one for the trip. The power kept going on and off the hwole time we were there and the wifi kept going out as well. The one redeeming thing about this hotel is their continental breakfast as there is a good variety to pick from and it was very convienient. They also have a shuttle to Disneyland paris which is also the Rer-A train station so that was very helpful for us to use.

Dear Family We would first like to thank you for choosing the Explorers Hotel for your visit to Disneyland Paris and sincerely apologize for the electricity issue encountered during your stay due to the Ciaran storm.The highest priority of our hotel is the comfort and satisfaction of each our clients and we can assure you that we did our best to solve the issue.As you may know, 2 generators were installed during the night of the 3rd of November in order to reinstall the power. The team and the management did work all day and night to try to find some solutions.We do apologies sincerely as we know this had an impact on your holiday and your family quality time.Pirately yours
