If you are familiar with Disney properties, you are familiar with just how great they can be. This is not one of them. I would put this at or below an All Star Resort in Orlando with rooms that are well below average for an extreme price of over $650 a night.

Worst experience ever in an hotel. Comes to mind the government-run hotels in Jugoslavia in 1989. Staff Is rude and not polite. Structure is dirty, outdated and overpriced. People working here behave like they know that somehow they cannot be fired even if you treat you in the worst of the way. Everyone waits for some information on some screen and sometimes you wait for hours because there is an error with your qr code.They say they are waiting for this sort of magical information that will appear (or not), like it doesn't depends on them. Like there is some sort of big brother from some remote system control room that allows them to act or not to act. Basically this structure gives you the clear idea that is amateurishly managed and even more amateurishly run.

Good option for a quick one night stay before moving on. The guest services were friendly and always accommodating. The property is dated and unclean throughout. The food options were not plentiful and consisted of the same styles. The pool was detached and away from main lodge so made for a cold walk. Nice theming in the pool area and had a water slide, which was fun. The room was sad in many ways. Limited options for plug ins, but did have a charging cube for cable free capabilities. No mini fridge to keep drinks cold and one tiny trash can hidden in the shower area. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, but was good for a tired traveler. The towels could use some refreshing. Felt like sandpaper against your body and very thin. The central bar had nice options for anyone. Service ass great and spoke many languages to accommodate. Quick easy park access, less than 10 mins. Nice location overall. Would likely not stay at our next visit, but always fun to try different hotels around the parks.

What i like the most about the Disney Sequoia Lodge was how close in walking distance Disneyland Paris was and the quietness of the resort with such beautiful landscape.

The property is nice in that it is walkable to the parks and that the workers are generally friendly. However this is hotel is lacking in other ways. For the price you are receiving a very poor value. There isn’t any bell service at the hotel which is shocking for a hotel of this quality. The mattresses were some of the worst that I’ve ever slept on and I am not picky at all when it comes to that. The room has one outlet only and it is not near the bed, so if you need medical equipment like a CPAP you have to go to the front desk to borrow an extension cord that isn’t even long enough. I’m a fan of Disney hotels and this one is a disappointment.

Staff were not very welcoming at the welcome desk!! Felt as if it was a hassle when you asked them anything Bar staff lovely but order x2 drinks at a time as service extremely slow It states breakfast served UNTIL 11 but this is not really the case & it is OPEN until 11. Staff started clearing things away from 10.30 so I would advise go before 10 for breakfast

The overhang was blocked off to all traffic leaving nowhere to load/unload children, luggage and a wheelchair. The staff watched as we struggled with our luggage through the front doors and did nothing to help. We were told we could take an electric scooter on the bus but the driver refused. We were then told special transpirtdtion would be provided but it “wasn’t available” at that time. Restaurant had limited food options. Room was standard.

I recently booked a three-night stay at Disney Sequo through Expedia, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. My dissatisfaction began when I attempted to modify my reservation due to unexpected work obligations. Despite being within the cancellation period, my requests to cancel the last night were met with unfulfilled promises from Expedia customer service. After several days of back-and-forth assurances, I was eventually told to address the matter directly with the hotel upon check-in. Upon arriving at [Hotel Name], I expected a seamless resolution, given that I had booked a Golden Forest room for an elevated experience. However, the disappointment continued. The staff at the Golden Forest club, specifically [Employee's Name], demonstrated an astonishing lack of professionalism and customer service skills. [Employee's Name] not only displayed rudeness but also denied any assistance due to the fact that I had booked through Expedia. Her statement, "Disney is a very large company, and they in the hotel are unable to help me if I book through Expedia," was not only inaccurate but also unacceptable. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was met with further unwillingness to address my concerns. To make matters worse, [Employee's Name] was unable to locate my booking information and even questioned the validity of my room number. This lack of coordination and professionalism within the Golden Forest club left me feeling completely helpless and shoc

Very disappointing for a Disney property. Let me start out by saying what is good. The golden forest club breakfast and lounge is very good. The bedding and towels are good in the golden forest room. The golden forest room size is fine my only real complaint was that the AC didn’t cool the room much at all and that made it uncomfortable. For my 3rd night I had to change to a regular room as I had to book a 3rd night reservation and there was no more availability for the golden forest. The regular room also the AC doesn’t really work well enough to cool the room. The bedding is not as good as the other room. The towels are the cheapest towels I have ever used, think cheap $49 side of the interstate motel. But the worst part of the room is that it reeks of stale cigarettes. So basically think of the Disney Sequoia Lodge as a cheap Las Vegas motel. The cheapest Disney property I have stayed at was Pop Century and that feels like a huge upgrade from this place.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. We arrived ar 2:30, and went through tedious check in process. The receptionist was not helpful, she informed us that we would receive a text when our room was ready around 3pm. We decided to go to the parks for the day, we never received a text. I contacted expedia for help, the agent was also not able to help me. We were not able to check into our hotel after 9pm! Almost no one spoke English which isn’t common for a Disney hotel. We are DVC owners and have been to several locations, this if the worst service we’ve experienced in 20 years. Had we known the Disneyland Hotel open we would have stayed there. This hotel is a dump that should be permanently closed.

Great choice for Disney, we love usually stay at Newport Bay and tried this as we’re booking last minute. This was far better- staff were great, brighter rooms and even closer to the parks. Would choose Sequoia now as a preference.

Was quite expensive for what you get, but that is to be expected with proximity to Disneyland. Was disappointed that our room had a problem with the shower, but it was fixed relatively quickly. Was worth being close to the park.

The hotel was overall excellent. Rooms were a little tired and could do with an update or at least maintained a little better, last time we came there was a fridge in the rooms but they have now been taken out which is a shame as they are very useful especially in the summer. Pool was really nice although could be a little warmer. The bar area was lovely and relaxing from a busy day in the park, we was lucky enough to have a very friendly and attentive waiter which made us and our 5 children feel at ease. Overall a very lovely stay.

This was our second stay at Sequoia Lodge in the last 12 months. It lived up to our expectations yet again, and the calm, quiet nature of the hotel is very welcome after a busy day in the parks. Our only criticism would be that the air conditioning was rather feeble. It never really felt that cool in the room (outside temperatures during our stay ranged from 25c-30c), which was a bit annoying. Other than that, it was a great stay, and we’ll be back again!

The Lodge needs an update
The hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The room was quite warm, even with a fan. The shower had some mold. there were only three outlets available. After the first day, there was no ice in the machines on our and the few adjacent floors.

The hotel was a 5 min walk to Disney Village. The gardens and surrounding it were beautiful and well kept. The pool was great for our 11 and 9 year old with a water slide with an indoor and outdoor section. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The decor was rather out dated though.

I find it unfortunate that the entrance/exit of this hotel is where the smokers are. There is zero way to avoid walking thru smoke. Really marred the experience
