We stayed at Seqouia Lodge for a weekend in March.

Posted 06-Apr-2014
We loved the location of the lodge. It is walking distance to the Disney park and set in beautiful woods. It gives you the feeling of being in California in a redwood/seqouia forest. We really liked the wood beams giving it a real lodge feeling. Beautiful lodge and location perfect for families!

Walt would be disappointed

Posted 01-Apr-2014
Staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. Our room was on the first floor and due to the poor lay out a very long walk from reception. We needed to do that walk very often as our key never seemed to work more than once on the door and we would end up walking all the back to get a new one issued. This happened 5 times over 3 days. The staff was unwilling to do anything. We were with other families who had similar issues. The breakfast buffet was not worth eating with limited options and usually a long wait. In general we did not get a warm friendly or helpful attitude from anyone so not a very "Disney" feel. The hotel was clean and a short walk to Disney Land but it is a 3 star hotel at best and somewhat dated. We have stayed in Disney Hotel's in Florida, California and Hong Kong and always had a pleasant experience. The Sequoia was just not on the same level.

Brilliant f or Disney park

Posted 26-Mar-2014
Pros: Convenient for Disney park and adjacent to A4 motorway and not far from A104 motorway.
Cons: Buffet only restaurant very expensive for both adults and children.
Location: Disney.
Stayed here to visit Di Spey with my daughter and two young grandchildren. Had two rooms wi the an interconnecting door. It was ideal. Hotel was easy to find and just three hours easy drive from the channel tunnel.

Close to disney park.

Posted 21-Mar-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness and speed of staff.
Everything in this hotel takes time, there is always a que and the staff are quite slow. I was given incorrect information with regards to the park closing time so missed out going into one park. When I made a complaint to staff I was told to come back tomorrow then I was told there is a web page for complaining English customers! The room was dirty there was popcorn over the floor and hairs all over the bathroom floor, bath tub and sink. We where locked out of our room for over an hour as the key card didn't work and the staff took this amount of time to deal with it. This hotel is excellent for location to walk to disney and has a pool but that's about it.

Nice Disney hotel

Posted 16-Mar-2014
Pros: Distance to park - easy 15 mins walk into either park. Free wifi. Pool.
Cons: Breakfast - ok choice of cold things but would have liked a small hot selection too.
Location: Relatively cheap lunch at the Earl of Sandwich offers lots of choices of salads - freshly made.
Large room in lodge was quiet and had wi-fi. Free towels and lockers in swimming pool which our daughter loved with its slide and ready to wear armbands. The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were nice too.

Cheerful and comfortable.

Posted 17-Jan-2014
Pros: Spacious, clean and quiet rooms, friendly atmosphere, pleasant 15 minute walk from parks.
Cons: A kettle and hot drink supplies would be good additional provisions.
Location: For a long stay at Disneyland, Paris itself is only a short train journey away; the station is next to the park.
The hotel staff were welcoming and knowledgeable throughout my stay. I was delighted with the room; a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom (including a bathtub) and large TV. The décor was Bambi themed but tasteful. The heavy curtains created pitch darkness at night which was wonderful. An ice bucket was provided which was useful for keeping drinks cool. The hotel amenities were overall excellent value. Breakfast was included. There was a cosy bar with a good range of food. An extensive dinner buffet was also available at the restaurant. The hotel shop had lots of supplies as well as Disney merchandise. The pool, fitness room and stream room were also bonus treats.

Great stay

I bought this for girlfriend and her little boy and didn't know what to expect but as we pulled upto the hotel it had a great feel about it , like American lodge cabins or something. Staff were really helpful as soon as we arrived. We were going to jump free shuttle bus to Disneyland but decided to walk and were surprised when it was only about 5 mins walk around the pond. Would recommend anyone thinking of going to book half board as you get vouchers for a meal and can use these at many resurants outside of your hotel.

very poor housekeeping

very poor housekeeping, we were offered a handicap room for no reason which made it difficult for the kids to use the bathroom.

Needs updating

Posted 03-Jan-2014
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Clean room thoroughly. Fruit at breakfast.
The hotel is very tired and the bedroom needed cleaning. Breakfast is limited and great if you like all carbs!
