“You sometimes get what you pay for.”
The Hotel was what could be expected for the average 3 star accommodation, it was somewhat overpriced but I guess that's paris for you? The reception staff ranged from rude to really helpful. The area is nice and very close to the metro station, with regular service to most of the tourist attractions, via connections.
“Great Location, could be cleaner”
Fantastic location for this hotel, however the room I was in was not as clean as it could have been and is probably nearly due for a make over. Otherwise, very acceptable
“Great location”
Great hotel in a great location for exploring Paris, Plenty of resturants, cafes and shops in the area. Rooms a little on the small side but spent so little time in the room it was not a major issue. Staff were excellent. When we return to Paris we would re book this hotel with no concerns.
“Paris is gorgeous and the staff were very helpful in all our needs”
People make the place and the the concierge (espcially Julian) was always helpful and friendly. the hotel was clean and fresh, although the twin room was small the windows were double glazed, hallway carpeted & walls insulated so we had a peaceful nights sleep. A place to visit again and again.
“A great hotel for a good price”
Staff were really helpful with printing off work stuff and giving some wonderful tips for restaurants . Rooms are small in Paris but we were really happy
“Nice place where to sleep!”
Nice place where to sleep! The price is ok, but does not include breakfast, internet ... nothing else, just sleeping! TV has few satellite channels. Very convenient location!
“Good for the Price”
The service was friendly and efficient though I didn't take the breakfast, which was expensive and the normal fare of over-sugared OJ, boring bread and indifferent coffee that is typical of even much more expensive hotels. I spent far less at €4 for a proper coffee and fresh croissant at a nearby cafe. The hotel is a comfortable walking distance to the Seine, many restaurants and the Left Bank. Two metro stations are very close though both with a slightly inconvenient transfer involving a long walkway to the RER B, in order to connect to/from the airport. Room size was small but not minute - about average for Paris in this category. My room was clean, reasonably quiet, and the bathroom better stocked than the norm in this class. There is Internet but you have to pay for it.
“Will stay there again”
We were extremely satisfied with the hotel. My main criteria in a good hotel is cleanliness, and it was very clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we loved the location next to Rue Moufftard. We walked all over the city from our hotel too. We had a room on the street side and could see Notre Dame peering out the window and up the street. Of course the room was small, and the mattress was just fair, but for clean, convenient and great service at a good price, it's excellent. I would definitely stay there again!
“Quite disappointed”
As soon as I booked my "Unpublished Hotel" booking I looked it up on the internet and was disappointed. Once we arrived, we were met at the counter by a surly staff member that never made eye contact. We went up to our room that didn't have room to walk and have bags on the floor. I've lived in Tokyo and understand small, but this hotel in general was over priced compared to what we saw as we strolled around. The rooms were worn-we stayed in two different rooms. Great location. The last day we had a very helpful staff person arrange our transport.
“Clean but very dull”
Guest rooms are small and very dull.
