Very clean, cosy, and perfectly situated hotel

Astonishing clean, recently renovated hotel. Basic comfort, but of high quality. Very friendly staff. Small, but immaculate rooms. The location of the hotel, in the Montmartre area, is perfect to visit Paris.

Good neighborhood and location with reasonable $

Posted 21-May-2014 on Hotels.com
Near the metro, can get to most of Paris in a short amount of time, the neighborhood is great, the cafés nearby provide great food. The Franco-African restaurant opposite the hotel is a surprise hidden gem. However, during my stay, the wi-fi is not working, which makes me disconnected with my friends.

nice hotel with good location

Posted 19-May-2014
Pros: staff location
Cons: iron in the room guest to keep room key upon going out of the hotel
Location: restaurants, shops, basilica, metro station
excellent experience. 1 block away from metro station, a corner away from restaurants, shops. also about 4 blocks from the sacre coeur basilica and small plaza with many local shops and restaurants. REALLY liked the location. wish they had an iron in the room, but you can rent it from the main desk (they give your money back upon return). excellent and nice staff. only thing is that you have to leave your room key in the main desk every time you leave the hotel

Location: Great locality - walking distance to Montmartre and many good local bars and restaurants.
No hairdryers in room - you have to borrow one from Reception and pay a £20 deposit!

It's very near the Lamarck subway station, very convenient. The rooms are tidy and clean, and the staff here are polite and helpful. Recommend !

Good location -and comfy bed

Good value hotel - a little noisy due to the bars over the road but very clean and comfortable. Small but adequate bathroom. Could have done with more than one hanger in the wardrobe though. However, great location for a weekend in Paris and I would stay here again.

Absolute Worst Service Ever Experienced in Paris

Posted 25-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
I've been to Paris many times and at this hotel we were treated to the worst service I have ever experienced. The receptionist during the day was pleasant until I politely questioned the Wi-Fi charge at which point she shouted at me in front of everyone in reception. Though the worst service award definitely has to go to the man who works at night. He was constantly on his mobile phone and if you needed to ask a question, you had to wait until he could give you the time of day (to merely grunt in your direction, not ask what you were after). Our final experience was when our taxi driver was trying to severely overcharge the flagfall amount and told us to speak to the man at the hotel about it. Upon doing so, we were told that it was "our problem, I booked your taxi, the rest is your problem". When I mentioned that his tone was rather rude, he responded by making a face and slamming the door, locking us outside. Almost laughable if it hadn't actually happened! The hotel is far too expensive for what it offers - location is great but the rooms smell like damp and there is no air conditioning (having the window open means you can't sleep as there are about 4 bars within a 20m radius). I would recommend almost any other budget hotel chain in Paris than this hotel.
