“Good place to stay”
The location is very good. Close to a grocery store and several restaurants (very highly recommend Le Rosmario on Voltaire) and a metro stop at the corner. The hotel breakfast buffet was not extensive but very adequate. The rooms were small with not much room for luggage but manageable and well maintained and clean. The staff all speak English and were good at giving directions.
“week away in Paris”
Had an enjoyable 5 days in Paris. The Hotel was good it was a good location. Breakfast was o.k. not that much choice, self service. Caught the RER from the Airport to Gare de lyon. Many of the Restraints in the area had happy hour so was paying 4 euro’s for a pint of bear.
“Very helpful and friendly staff”
We stayed for four nights and had a really good hotel experience. The room was exceptionally clean and we had fresh towels daily. The breakfast was very good and remained full of choices even if we got up later! The reception staff spoke English and were very helpful, answering any questions we had about places to visit. They seemed very knowledgeable about Paris and were able to direct us to some great markets. We would definately stay there again, our room was at the front of the hotel and the road was quite noisy at night, but when the balcony door was shut we couln't hear a thing! We had a great trip!
“Good location”
Very close to Charonne metro so easy to get about. If possible try to get a room at the back overlooking the small garden - much quieter. Room at front (no aircon available) so you need the doors to the balcony open in warm weather and it can get a bit noisy. Breakfast was fine if basic and staff were friendly and helpful.
“Had a good stay--would stay again”
Good location-helpful staff. Breakfast was great every morning. The desk staff spoke English--everything was as advertised.
“Got the job done”
Free WiFi and Complimentary Continental Breakfast were my main reasons for choosing this hotel. The WiFI was effective and worked. The breakfast was suffice. The staff was hospitable. The rooms are small since it is Paris, but we had a small balcony and that was certainly very nice. The bathrooms are tiny but modern and very clean. The Charonne train stop on the 9 is at the corner and that makes this hotel very convenient for travel around Paris. I would certainly stay here again if the price is right.
“Great hotel with parking and breakfast!”
Had a hard time finding hotel with parking since we had a rental car. Arrived late and no problem checking in and parking in underground parking. Reception was very friendly and helpful - provided map and details on how to use metro. Metro was just around the corner and took us everywhere we needed to go very quickly - Eiffel Tower was furthest away and might have been a 20 minute ride. Hotel room was small but that was expected from everything I had read. Decor was dated but room was clean and good enough for the short time we were in it. Breakfast was typical European meats and cheeses but good. We would stay here again.
“would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends”
Hotel was brilliant , quiet location , all amenities within a stone's throw away .supermarket less than a minute away for all your needs .Buffet breakfast okay , coffee is not up to much but hey your on holiday . If you want bring your own . Very good Chinese restaurant just down the road and very reasonable . Subway takes a day to get used too . Buy a Paris vist pass and you could jump on and off subway trains and buses .Go to attractions very early or late afternoon to avoid queues . Bon voyage
“Great location at a Great price!”
Hotel is in a convievent location when visiting by train...taxi ride from international train station was less than 10 euro. However, when returning to station better off to get taxi from street...if called taxi ride almost tripled in cost. Hotel is small as was stated in other reviews but extremely clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Metro station nearby made travel between sightseeing destinations convienent. Would highly reccomend for this level hotel!
“comfortable and convenient hotel recommend for budget conscious seeking comfort”
Excellent hotel for those who want comfort at a reasonable price. rooms are small but comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent spot for exploring PRis and seeing hoe the locals live. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
