“Good location, clean room, great City!”
Great! Friendly staff who spoke english and were very accomadating. 5 mins walk to the metro line which links you to the champs elysee and to other places and 8-10 min walk from eiffel tower with it's metro stop and sightseeing bus tour stops. Room was clean and compact but if you want to be out and about it is ideal for sightseeing due to it's location. Restaurant's around the hotel were ok, at the end of the street we had a good meal. Two supermarkets are 3 mins walk. Hotel has place to store luggage after check out and room provides drink making facilities in the standard double room. All in all if you want a basic hotel to sleep in, get changed and keep your stuff in then this ideal and very reasonably priced.
“Looking forward to going back!”
I selected the hotel due to the proximity to the Eiffel Tower and was delighted by the choice and its location. Even though the hotel is a bit off the main drag, it is close to the metro and main street with dining, grocery store, souvenir shops and ATM machines. The bathroom is a bit tight by the toilet (no room for your knees)and only has a shower stall, but if you only need a place to crash at night, this is the perfect place. I will definitely return to this hotel next time I am in Paris!
“What a fantastic hotel!”
After reading the very positive reviews, I was really looking forward to my stay at the Campanile Paris Tour Eiffel, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! Yes, like others have said, the rooms are quite small - but considering the price and location, I think it's to be expected. They are however spotlessly clean, perfectly comfortable and there is even free wi-fi. Each day my room was serviced and topped up with more coffee and biscuits, clean towels etc. Staff were very friendly and more then happy to help me with directions and transport info, etc. It's no lie that the hotel really is a couple of blocks from the Eiffel Tower, the photo doesn't really do it justice I don't think! At the end of the street is Boulevard de Grenelle with it's many shops, bars and restaurants and metro line 6 running literally above. Can't wait to stay here again soon!
“Excellent value for money”
The hotel was excellent value for money. Both the bedroom and bathroom were a sufficient size for our two night stay. Everything was clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a budget hotel in Paris.
“Ideally situated. Very helpful staff.”
This was the first time myself and 2 friends stayed here. The rooms are small but what do you want for the price. The staff were extremely helpful. We were going to a concert at an unfamiliar venue. They gaves us directions and showed us on a map they gave us. Breakfast looked very good but we used one of the many local cafes. They speak excellent english but let me practice my french. Only gripe is that some of the other guest were rather noisy going to bed. Not too bad and can't be blamed on the hotel.
“Nice hotel, nicely situated”
I was a bit worried on reading other people's reviews that the room would be too small, but it seemed normal to me for a European hotel room. I had a corner room, but on the map the other rooms looked similar.
“Good base to explore around Eiffel Tower area”
The Campanile chain seem like good value, excellent location within 10mins walk of the Eiffell Tower, but this hotel is also a little away from the tourist trail, so the surrounding shops and restaurants are better too, and not quite as expensive as others. Staff were friendly and helpful, Hotel breakfast a bit expensive but it's easy to find other places nearby to eat. Basic toiletries and tea/coffee provided in room. Overall, I'd recommend this if you want a base well-located, clean but with no frills really. I'd definitely return.
“Cozy Hotel, Quiet Neighborhood”
Clean, comfortable, cozy boutique style hotel located in a quiet residential neighborhood near the Eiffel Tower within easy walking distance to three Metro stations. Staff was extremely attentive, courteous, and professional. With their knowledge of English and my high school French, communication was definitely not a problem. Rooms and bathrooms are smallish by American standards, but this is a European thing, so remember where you are and make the best of it.
“A small but lovely hotel in Paris”
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during a recent trip to Paris. Lovely hotel, staff were really friendly and could also speak English which was great. Room was small but clean and was cleaned daily with a change of towels. The bathroom was very small and in particular the shower. However, we didnt spend much time at the hotel because we were out sightseeing so for somewhere to sleep this hotel was more than satisfactory.
“Nice clean hotel with good location”
though the rooms are quite small ( it's paris of course). I think everything was very good. Metro station bir-hakeim is really close to get you everywhere.
