Everything is good, expect the room was not available at the designated check in time of 3pm. After an 13 hour flight with a child, this is essential aspect for consideration. Staff was nice and professional however 2 star is only for not having the room ready at the check in time.

Stayed here many times and never sleep, rooms are too noisy and way to hot now that the air con has been taken away. If you open the windows all you can hear is traffic noise and smells car fumes and smoke. Earplugs need to be provided and bring the air con back please. Rooms also have a mould smell and are never dusted properly. Bulbs and broken shower door glass need replacing.

Dear Laura, Thank you for sharing your experience following your last stay.I am sorry to see that your stay did not met your expectation and surprised that even if you do not sleep everytime you book a room with us, you choose to come again. You might know that almost all of our rooms are street view and that Lafayette street is a main street in Paris and very busy so it cannot be very quiet. But we understand that the noise sensibility is not the same regarding the person.Our air conditioning system is central. On the winter, we have to reverse it in heating mode. I will share your concern with our maintenance department to see what it can do about that.We do have other room available if you are not comfortable in yours. The front Desk team is always available if you need anything. But the housekeeping department will know about the concern you shared regarding the room.Best regards,

Uncomfortable sleep
Friendly staff and great location. Not my first stay so feel like a home from home. Unfortunately the previous guest had used the alarm clock and it hadn’t been reset. I was woken up at 6am by the alarm. My superior room had two single beds pushed together, usually find in other hotels but the beds moved and I would fall in between. I had to sleep on one side, very uncomfortable and a wasted of bed.

I think the property was okay. In the area, there are very few people, and food options are kind of limited, depending on the time. The wifi also wasn't working very well, therefore making it very difficult to stay connected.

The elevator wasn't working but they offer free breakfast the last day we left and it was delicious. The hotel was very nice.

We were on the top floor (level 6) but the lift was broken so we had to walk up 6 flights of long stairs. Super exhausting but the staff were amazing

Manager is really nice gave me a upgrade but even that was a dump this hotel is old and gross could not sleep never would stay again and it stinks elevator doesn’t work u have to carry bags up many stories

Pros: My room was a good size, with a very comfortable bed and a big balcony that faced rue la Fayette. Although early check-in was not available, the front desk was able to hold my carry-on bag for me until I could check-in. Location was close to so many places to eat and within a 20 minute walk of the Louvre, Sacré-Cœur Basilica, Opéra Garnier, The Galeries Lafayette. Cons: The staff was very nice but I was disappointed with the service. Check-in should’ve been at 3pm so I came early to drop off my bag. When I returned at 5pm my room was still not ready. I put the sign on my door so that housekeeping would not clean my room (to save energy/water) but when I asked the front desk for additional drip coffee - they said the only way to get it was from housekeeping so they couldn’t help me because I asked for my room not to be cleaned. The shower is quite small, which was perfect for me but would probably be difficult for a larger person. The water temperature was hard to control, it was either cold or scolding hot. Overall rating: The room was very comfortable. GREAT bed. The building didn’t have amenities except for free wifi. Not sure how it was rated as a 4-star but it was still decent.

Really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful and polite. Room was warm and comfortable which is lovely when it is as cold as -1 outside. Would stay again.

The room we received was beautiful with a balcony, bed was supper comfy, staff was friendly and nice and let us leave our bags on our check out day so we where able to tourist more.

This is the first negative review I have ever left for a property. I feel bad but I have to do it. There was water damage on the ceiling. Stains on the walls. A small amount of ants on the bed and in the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny but that I did not mind. What I did mind was the stains in the bathtub. The curtain rod that was bolted to the ceiling, was hanging from the ceiling which made it impossible to open the window fully without risking the whole rod falling out. There was exposed sheet rock from where the curtain rod was hanging. Could not turn the air conditioning on because there was so much dust inside of it which left the room stuffy. Room was dark as there were only two lamps and no overhead light. Extremely cramped overall.

Great hotel, very convenient to Metro station and lots of restaurants and shops. Easy walk to Montmarte and the Opera area. The beds were very comfortable, nice updated bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay.

Trip of a lifetime.
For us it was in the middle of the action. We could walk to food, green grocer, shopping, jazz you name it. A 20€ cab ride took us everywhere else we wanted to go. Metro took us to the left bank. Can’t wait to go back.

Room was small but clean. Had clean bed and toilet. Had asked for grab bars in bathroom but they couldnt give me one. Not very ADA friendly but we are in France!! Location was noisy but convenient and safe even at night.

Pros: - Great location - Supermarket next door - Cleaned every day - Very helpful desk staff (one person in particular was great with English) Cons: - Small room - Uncomfortable pillows (this is personal preference) - General maintenance in room (tape on the ceiling, bed light didnt work, fridge warm, toilet very tired)

Clean, helpful staff, and very big rooms for Paris. Staff very patient with my beginner level French. Rooms very clean and the balcony views are amazing. Lots of cafes and grocery stores in walking distance

Lovely hotel which was very easy to get to from Gare du nord. Hotel was clean and the rooms were smart. The balconies too made the room special.

Stay away.
One of the worse hotel i ever been How should i start? Cleaning less... first room i got was dirty simply dirty in way you would not expect.during Covid Service terrible. Was wrongly charged. Staff was simply not nice .. actually one of the staff that did not helped me seem to be nice a guy but tje lady and her manager were rude Internet impossible to connect . Tried 3 différents devices . Restarted. Everything i could try to make it work ... when i called to get help the answer was i dont know what to tell you... Stay away
