Small, pleasant, clean but noisey place.

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: The location, staff and cleanliness.
Cons: Serve a continental breakfast as advertised.
Location: Within walking distance of the Louvre museum, cafes, restaurants, ATM and money changing services.
Great location & very pleasant staff; however, built over a subway tube whose train traffic could be heard in our room. The staff denied this, but what could they do? Move the hotel? Room options were very limited. If you want a small, moderately priced waystation that is close to the louvre, and eating out is not a problem, this might do, but we lost sleep due to the loud, recurrent subway noise.

Pros: Nice Location
The Hotel location is excellent, close to most of the important attractions. Many restaurant and Cafe's are walking distance. It offers great value if you want to be close to the action without having to pay too much.

Really Great Experience

Posted 26-Aug-2014
This hotel has a fabulous location, literally across the street from the Louvre. There are lots of restaurants close by with easy access to the Metro. The staff was very helpful with information and requests. Our television didn't work, but we were compensated with complimentary breakfasts two mornings. That worked just fine for us.Our room was also surprisingly quiet, considering that we were in the middle of a bustling capital city. Our only minor complaint was that, although air-conditioned, the room was not cool enough for us. In all other ways, the room was totally satisfactory. We would definitely stay here again when in Paris.

Easy Access to the Louvre

We were very pleased with our stay! The Louvre is literally a few steps away. Small decent cafes nearby. The service at the hotel was excellent. We dealt with 7 people at the front desk and all but one were very helpful and courteous. Rooms were decent sizes and the price was reasonable.

3 blocks from the Louvre.

You can walk to the hop-on-hop-off near the Louvre's glass pyramids. There are lots of other hotels nearby, probably less expensive, but they are not on Expedia so we didn't want to chance getting a bad hotel. It was worth what we paid. The room was "deluxe" (larger). Everything was modern. There was no view to speak of, but we spent most of our time there resting our weary bodies and aching feet. The AC worked great. Remember to say "Bonjour" to everyone and you will get great service and lots of smiles.

Excellent location

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: Location, breakfast
Cons: Communication.
Location: Louvre and Metro to all sights
No drawer space for clothes We asked the on-duty staff person to make dinner reservations on Mon., Tues, and Wed.;we received no confirmation for any of them. On Mon. and Tues, we were expected at the restaurants when we arrived. On Wed., we were told at La Regelade that we had no reservation and they could not seat us so we had to find another restaurant. Thurs. a.m. we asked why we had no reservation and were told that "they were full, but would try to squeeze us in." If we had known this at the outset, we would have made other plans for Wed. dinner. This was very embarrassing and inconvenient. Hotel location is excellent. Breakfast was very good and b'fast staff excellent.

Good place just to sleep.

Posted 17-Jun-2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: None, Basic Hotel
Location: In the edge of the Rue St Honore the main shopping street in Paris. Close to Le Louvre Museum, and within walking distance from major attractions.
The hotel like main of such small hotels is too tight and cramped. Rooms are very small. It is a place that you use just to sleep. Location is good right on main shopping street and close to the Louvre Museum.
