Nice hotel located very close to metro station.

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Cons: Rooms are small but that is expected given the location.
Location: There are small shops, pharmacy 24/7, Subway, McDonald's very close - 2min walk.
Located next to Porte de Vincennes metro station, which is great for travelling around Paris. Staff was helpful including helping heat food in microwave.

Nice hotel, excellent location but slow wifi

Posted 27-Apr-2014
The hotel is very nice and clean, location is perfect, close to train station with lots of shops around. Staffs are very friendly. However, the wifi is very slow when you access from your room. I would choose to stay in this hotel again.

Nice hotel conveniently located next to metro

Posted 14-Apr-2014
We stay at the hotel for 3 nights during our stay in Paris. It's small but very neat and conveniently located next to metro station. Staff are also friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will come back when we visit Paris next time.

Clean, modern, quiet

Posted 24-Mar-2014
Pros: Cleanliness, comfort, free Wi-Fi, friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Cons: The desk chair in my room was very heavy and made going to and from the closet difficult since the chair had to be pushing under the table every time.
Location: Hotel is on the eastern edge of the city in the 12th arr. but there's a metro station around the corner. Neighborhood seemed safe.
The staff was polite and very helpful when I had trouble signing on to the free Wi-Fi. The entire hotel is non-smoking, which was plus for me. I was alone, and my room was very small, almost like a cruise ship cabin. But clean and up-to-date. Bathroom was comparatively spacious and well-appointed, including hair dryer. No sounds bleeding in from other rooms or the street (I was on the top floor). Breakfast was available for extra fees, and not cheap, but Paris is an expensive town. This is a great hotel for budget-aware travelers who are not intimidated by using the metro or walking comparatively long distances.

Nice updates

Posted 19-Mar-2014
Nice updates. The room was fresh and bright. Lot's of electrical outlets which we found to be at a premium in other hotel's. Convenient to the Metro line for easy access to numerous areas of the city and the airport lines. Quiet location.

Pros: It was clean and there were no pests of any kind that I could see.
Cons: They were quite strict with the soap.
Location: Close to the subway.
Good for the price. Neighbourhood not the nicest but seemed very safe.

Quiet and comfortable Paris retreat

Posted 24-Feb-2014
I had read back through the reviews of this hotel and was looking forward to a lovely, rehabilitated small hotel. That is exactly what we got! It was not in the centre of Paris but perfectly located to visit all the main tourist attractions of Paris. The closest metro station was Porte de Vincennes which was less than a 5 minute walk. There are nearby convenience stories which was really handy. The room although small (which to be honest for Paris is perfectly reasonable and to be expected) was cozy, clean and inviting!! After living in London for the past year, this room was luxury! The shower was roomy and amazing!! The beds comfortable and rooms cleaned expertly every day. I could not recommend this hotel enough as it outdid itself in every single way. Thank you to the friendly staff as well for their help and for putting up with our terrible attempts at speaking french!

Small but cosy

Pros: Cleanliness Location
Cons: Room service
Location: It's located next to Porte de Vincennes metro station. There are small shops, pharmacy 24/7, Subway, McDonald's, kebab and Japanese place, Post Office.
My boyfriend and I arrived to the hotel on Friday's afternoon. The receptionist was friendly and the check-in didn't take too much time, the thing that surprised us was we were asked to leave the key at the reception every time we go out. The other surprise was the lift which can only take two people at the same time and merely one person with a suitcase; the stairway isn't big either. Before we entered the room we expected it to be small but it was smaller than that. On the other hand, it was very clean which made us happy. The bed was very comfortable so if you spend days walking around Paris you will definitely get a good sleep at night. The bathroom in our room was small as well, but two people can manage to use it at the same time.We were on the 5th floor and the WiFi speed was pretty fast there, but there was only one English channel on TV (BBC World News). For those who like to read there was always New York Times at the lobby.
