“Perfect Location & Charming Details”

We loved our stay at Hotel Best Western Ducs de Bourgogne. It was just perfect. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They responded quickly to every request, arranged car service, and directions. The views from the balcony were delightful and the furniture and bathroomwere also nice. The only complaint was one of our two beds were lopsided... we didn't complain, because we did not expect a solution short of changing the room, besides we were so tired from full days, that we slept perfectly fine. The hotel is perfectly close to the Metro Stop along the RER from CSG airport: Chatelet Les Halles. It is also very close to the River Seine, Centre Pompidou, Notre Dame, Musee de 'Armee, Louvre, Hotel de Ville, Champs Elyssee, and the fancy stores on St. Honore... all within easy walking distance. We would certainly stay here again.

We recommend the 1st Arrondissements... it is perfectly located for all of the major Parisian tourist stops.

“Walking distance from the Louvre...”

Extremely well situated, charming, limited number of rooms, friendly staff... Rooms are small but comfortable. Hotel offers basic amenities. Quiet minimalistic actually. Good overall experience... Claustrophobics beware!

Paris is beautiful throughout. Public transport Network is fabulous and cheap. Follow your heart, and if you can, walk it out... You'll love it.

“Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect stay!”

This was a lovely first time stay in Paris and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! From rer train from Charles de galle to the station in paris. It was sooo close that we were amazed! Staff spoke perfect English and couldnt be more helpful. Room was a good size. Some would say small but you don't go to Paris and stay in your room. I promise you this hotel was lovely. We looked out into a court yard and it was really quiet at night! Perfect for me as a light sleeper. Would highly recommend. Location. Staff. Cleanliness. Perfect!

“Great Service”

Great hotel service. We didn't speak any French, the front desk took the time to help us call and coordinate our airport shuttle. Helped give us directions and tips for around the city. The entire staff was wonderful. Rooms were small but confortable. Nice hotel.

“Air conditioning Bad, Deficient”

It was a hot room, they said it was ok for them, but not for us. And there was not alot of space at all, not a spacious room. The location was good and the employees were nice and profesional.

“Will return”

The rooms are very small, but the service is excellent. Considering that nobody goes to Paris to sleep much, this is a perfect location.

“Wonderful experience in Paris.”

We spent 9 days in Paris and loved every hour.

this hotel was located in the 1er arrondissement which in my opinion was a great neighbourhood of Paris to be in. We were within walking distance of the Louvre, Notre Dame and just across the bridge from the Latin Quarter. Close by there were 2 metro stops and many cafes, restaurants, bakerys, grocery stores and affordable clothing stores.

Getting around

The Open tour busses are worthwhile and you an idea of what you'd really love to see. Then get acquainted withe the metro system(fairly easy) , it's a quick way to get around when your tired.

Must see

Eiffel Tower during the day & again in the evening when it twinkles. The Louvre, buy your ticket ahead of time and go on Wednesday or Friday after 6;00p.m. Notre Dame Cathedral and Sacre Couer in MontMartre. The Palace of Versailles (you will understand why there was a revolution by the peasants)

“Location is great but rooms are to small and without any notice when booked !”

My room was with double bed but not more space, just 25 cm each side of the bed and 1 mt to the windows, very crowded and unconfortable, when booked they dont mention the size linked with the price then is a real surprise when you arrive !! cost-satisfaction is not fair ! buffet breakfast is less than average !

Les Halles or Opera neighborhood, because of the central location to Museums, Notre Dame, St Michael etc

if you like the excelent french cuisine go to Jules Verne at Eiffel Tower is really excellent but expensive !!

“Tiny but comfortable”

Our room was the smallest I've ever seen, but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We were only there for one night, so the room size wasn't too much of an issue, but I'm not sure I'd stay there for an extended time. The location is great and the proximity to the Metro makes it easy to get around the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a late train out of Paris and they stored our luggage in a secure room for us which was nice.

Area recommendations

The surrounding neighborhood has many restaurants and bakeries that offer reasonable prices and good food. The hotel staff gave us great recommendations.
