“Impressed”

This was a good choice for my husband and me. The room was modest, very clean, and quiet - just right after a full day of sightseeing. The included breakfsat was simple, fresh, and served promptly. The staff was friendly, helpful, and appreciated our feeble attempts at speaking french. Although the Pigalle District provided many "interesting" sights, we felt safe at all times, and appreciated the two minute walk to the metro. If you are looking for a five star luxury hotel, this may not be for you, but we found it to be a great value for the money.

“Tired decor, but a good deal for Paris”

I had a single room with ensuite, on the top (sixth) floor, facing away from the street. This meant it was both warm (it was Jan/Feb) and quiet (rooms closer to the lift would be noisy). The small room was adequate for someone who was out all day. Everything worked and although the decor was somewhat tired, it was kept very clean. I do not think it would be pleasant in summer (no obvious airconditioning), and on the days when there were a lot of residents, the hot water left something to be desired. There were renovations/painting going on on other floors, but these were not intrusive. Breakfast was a basket of pastries with coffee/etc./juice -- fine given the delights on offer once out the door. The desk staff were all helpful and friendly. The desk was staffed 24/7. The area has plenty of places to eat (not all tourist traps) and there are three supermarkets within 500m. I found the 'red light' aspect of the area intimidating, but I never felt unsafe. The Metro is on the doorstep (two lines), and there are frequent buses through Place Pigalle. I would recommend this hotel for its location (near Montmartre), ease of access, and reasonable winter room rates to anyone who wants somewhere clean and convenient to crash at night and is not expecting fabulous, fresh decor (tho', they were renovating) and a lot of space and mod-cons. I thought this hotel was a good wintertime deal given how expensive Paris can be.

“Great budget hotel”

Stayed in a triple room with my mom and sister which had 3 twin beds and a spacious bathroom with a full tub and shower. Obviously not a luxury hotel but very clean and comfortable, and staff is super friendly. Great location - there are a few stripper bars around but felt very safe. 1 min walk to metro. Would stay again.

“okay for the price, nothing special”

I booked this hotel at the last minute when I had to spend a night in Paris on my way home, and for that, it was adequate. The room felt a little skeevy and it's definitely in the dirrrty part of Montmartre, so for a longer stay in Paris, I wouldn't choose this hotel. For a quick stop, it's fine -- and the staff are really friendly.

“Cheap & Cheerful - Fab Location”

The Atlanta Frochot suited our needs really well. The hotel was a few steps from a main Metro line (Pigalle) & within walking distance of attractions like the Moulin Rouge. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. Noticed some negative comments re room sizes about Parisian hotels in general - the room & the bathroom were both small but clean & comfortable - & we didn't go to Paris to sit in the room! Would recommend.

“Not Bad”

Not a bad hotel, basic but comfortable. The hotel staff are very helpful. Location was the only down point. As I wanted to walk everywhere my shoes wore down quickly. However there is a metro just outside the hotel doors if you want to use them. Overall i would recommend the hotel for anyone on a budget

“Fairly Cheap for Paris”

Not a bad little hotel. In a bit of the red light district but once you get off the main street it isn't too bad. Little rooms but apparently this is the going size for paris. I have definatly stayed in smaller. Over a nice little hotel real close to the metro.
