A good, clean, basic place to stay.
Stayed for 2 weeks during a heat wave of 34-35 C. every day for the last week. No a/c but this was in September! As the night temperatures rose, it became unbearable, with no breeze. I'm 74 and needed help. Went down to reception and asked if I could rent a fan, not hoping for much. Immediately they rounded up a tall floor fan and a staff person brought it to my room, no extra charge. From then on it was fine, blowing full blast 24/7 until I checked out. One other thing--the rooms were very clean, but the first time I turned on the bathroom tap there was a bad smell from the drain--not sure why. Bought scented tea-lights and burned them over 2 nights and the smell faded away. Third floor overlooking the inner courtyard, very pleasant, but some people, with the windows all open at night, were quite noisy, laughing and talking--but in Paris one puts up with such things!

Teensy kitchen, but I made coffee every morning and had croissants, baguette, soft-boiled eggs, even did 2 dinners in the micro. Saved a lot on meals.

No air conditioning in Paris is assumed but there were no instructions to use the ventilation unit (maybe it was only for winter) so there was no ventilation in the room unless you opened the window. However, the rooms that face the street are VERY NOISY when the windows are open. Shower is VERY small.

If you just need somewhere to sleep for the night this was ok. There were a few nice bars and restaurants near by and it was directly by a metro station which was convenient. overall if you're on a budget it will do for the night.

Each person at the front desk was helpful and friendly!! They also spoke English, which was very helpful for me. The room was spacious and clean. The location was fabulous for the Metro...it is literally right outside the door.

A good deal in Paris.
I liked the apartment, it had a terrace from which one could see the Eiffel Tower pretty clearly. Local restaurants were plentiful and not nearly as expensive as one finds near the tourist attractions.

I was there for 11 nights while preparing my moving in my next flat nearby and I enjoyed it like a nice and quiet and warm place to rest in at evenings. Of course there are minor problems like a shower a little too narrow, a microwave too high, a breakfast very basic or the fact that cleaning is made for free only every five days. But really I went back with pleasure every day in the bedroom. Maybe not for a romantic honeymoon in Paris (that part of Paris is not the best but the ApparCity is 5 meters far from the Underground) but very acceptable in general. Having the possibility of cooking is a real plus with a big Monoprix very close, to avoid to go to the restaurant every day

Affordable but few amenities
Cons: .No daily housekeeping - fee except every fourth day (read fine print in Hotels.com description) .No hairdryer .No laundry - laundromat across the street .No air conditioning .Must clean kitchen otherwise cleaning charge .No hall light from elevator - elevator opens onto dark hallway...you have to search for light which goes off after less than a minute .Noisy street - traffic, police cars, ambulances, especially at night .Tiny shower hard to get into ...forget about this place if your heavy or tall...28”x28” that’s it! .Half of closet taken up with electrical .Toilet flusher was broken .Bed lamp switch flickers on-off .No security peephole .No deadbolt for room door .Room number on key - security issue Pros: .Comfy beds .Lots of groceries and fruit stands .Restaurants and patisseries .20 feet from metro entrance .19th arrondissement neighborhood (not touristy) .Windows open for fresh air .Great water pressure and lots of hot water.

We stayed in a double apart for a week with my husband and 1-year-old son. Overall everything was great. The staff was nice and can speak English. They gave a clean baby crip for my son. Our apart has a balcony in which there are table and chairs. They cleaned our room in 3 or 4 days period. When I asked for cleaning for everyday, they said I have to pay for it. But they gave everytime when I asked for clean towels without any charge. Location is good, with using 2 different metro lines you can reach to turistic sites. But I should say that there is no lift within metro entrance etc for baby cars. So we have to take bus more than metro. There is a bus line 75 which is going to turistic areas. It is taken off from Porte de Pantin which is in 10 minutes walking.

Very friendly staff and metro in front of the door
Very friendly staff, even though our room was not cleaned upon arrival (probably due to mistake of the cleaning company) they changed the room immediately and acted very promptly and politely to figure it all out, so much as I almost forgot about it already. The new room was very nice, with everything needed, and well-equipped kitchen. The metro is just behind the door, few groceries and boulangeries around.. and Canal St. Martin with Parc des Buttes Chaumont just behind the corner, making it all great place for morning breakfast picknics before heading downtown. It requires only one change of metro line to get pretty much anywhere in Paris within 20-40mins, very convenient place for reasonable money, definitely worth to check.

Wouldn't stay again and would not recommend
I wasn't expecting a luxe experience and was very aware of what I was booking, but expected it at least to be clean. Not the case, the upkeep of this hotel is terrible. Our toilet lid was broken and came off completely, the shower tiles had mould on them - these are simple things that maintenance and cleaning staff should take care of. The staff was nice enough, although the guy who did our check in seemed to be high and didn't even ask to see our IDs once he saw the room was paid for, which I didn't feel very safe about. The room only had 1 key and they said they could not give us another. I found this terrible considering our room had 2 single beds which makes it very clear we are not a couple and may not want to do all our activities together! They said we could leave the key at reception instead, but considering they're not IDing their guests, this didn't seem like the most safe idea...

It was very disappointing, smelly entrance very disgusting like drain smell inside before reception. I booked and paid for 2 rooms and they told me it was 1 room and had to wait to get this resolved. After checking in we went out and came late to find that no hot water in one room, the other room hob not working. We paid for their parking and we could not get out, door blocked, had to climb stairs to call receptionist to come and fix it. Not to mention we had a baby with us with no hot water.

Excellent on a budget close to metro.
Very convenient to metro at front door. Supermarket just 3mins walk with everything you require and cheaper than Carefour. Qurky appartment complex with frendly staff. Room small but comfortable and fully equipped kitchen. Lots of cafe and restaurants along the street. Multicultural residential Area. Felt safe exploring the neighbourhood. Would rate my stay a 8/10

I enjoyed staying and it was cozy. The only problem they need to pay attention is on the cleanliness which I believe needs to be done everyday instead of twice in a week. The area is good as I have stayed in there before in other hotel. You have all facilities around you and Metro is just 5 steps out of your apart hotel.

We have stayed here on a few occasions due to locality. Previously service and apartments very good. This time receptionist on our arrival spoke no English and did not appear interested in any attempt by my husband or myself to communicate with our broken French. The toilet bowl was cracked, the window blind broken, the room had dust in corners. Only one towel and trying to commumicate was impossible due to language barrier. He did offer to speak to us in Spanish!! Apparently there was no one else we could talk to, considering it's a tourist area, poor service really. Not sure we will use them again

Lovely staff, great location right next to Ourq metro station and relatively easy to commute to various places of interest. The area is nice, the dinning area and surronding were nice. Unfortunately our room wasn't the best. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable.The bathroom needs a complete update. The toilet has a bad smell and there is no air ventilation system and the toilet flush system is not working. The room was cleaned one time during our 9 nights stay.

Appart'City is right in front of the Metro station. Although in a quite busy avenue, you don't hear any noise from the street. Room was clean and people in the reception were very friendly. Good place for singles and couples.

Not the best place to stay but okay for the price.
The room wasn't even close to how it was advertised. There was no laundry service and the staff wasn't too helpful either. The neighbourhood is extremely noisy. I stayed for 15 days and I wasn't able to sleep soundlessly once. However, it is very affordable and right in front of Ourcq Metro Station (number 5).

No phone. Nobody cleaning the rooms. The cleaners purposely made loud noises and spoke loud early in the morning. The whole building gave me the creeps.They only clean in the 5th day. Strange. Nobody spoke english well. The food area and surronding was nice. But the vibes was totally off here. I wouldnt stay again.

A home away from home
Four steps from one of the exits at Ourcq metro which is four stops from Gare du Nord. The area is nice and pretty quiet but with a few supermarkets and restaurants. When getting there we had major issues getting the front door open since we couldn't figure out how on earth to call the reception on the intercom. Eventually got it by pressing the arrows until we got 0.0 and "appel". Checking in was easy enough with the regular copying of passport and such. We stayed on the forth floor and the apartment was clean with ample room for 2 people + luggage. There's a fully functional kitchen (minus oven), two chairs, a table, and a desk. The biggest positive is the absolutely massive private terrace with two chairs and a table. The only real negative was the super small shower space. Getting in was hard but getting out was even harder - you had to sort of wedge yourself in. Other than that the stay was perfect and we'll definitely stay again if we ever find ourselves back in Paris.
