“Value & Convenience”
Three Blocks from Notre Dame, One Block from Metro, One Block to 4 Brasseries, Yet a quiet side street place. Well priced modern rooms and baths. The rooms are too small to entertain in, but great place to get a good nights sleep and clean up before and after seeing the sights.
“tiny but nice find”
the hotel was as expected other then that it was rather small and the heat barely worked.
“Will use this hotel in future”
Middle of a busy, interesting, area, but in a quiet side street, so the only noise is people who return later than you at night. Good value and will use the Agora in St. Germain in future (if prices remain competitive).
“Great experience!”
While the room was on the smaller side - the bathrooms were NEW & CLEAN. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. Location was perfect, steps away from Notre Dame and Ile St Louis. I was really impressed and would definitely return.
“Great Location, Okay Hotel”
The Agora is in a wonderful, central location. I had a double room, which was small and spartan. The hotel appears to be in the midst of re-decorating, which my room needed desperately. Overall, if you want a great location and don't care overly much about the room itself, this hotel is a good value.
“Lovely, quiet, yet central location.”
Very pleased with this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the location alot. We were not famiiar with Paris and this location was central (Notre Dame, Seine, latin quartier were a block away), yet...it was still a bit out of the way , which gave us some quiet time the first and end of each day. Great coffee shop for your morning breakfast and a great bar for your evening night cap, all right around the corner. Rooms were small but AC worked well and everything was clean and neat. I would go back here, without hesitation.
“Will use again on next Paris trip”
The best quality of the hotel is its location: within a few minutes walk to major tourist attractions (Notre Dame, Luxembourg, etc...), yet on a relatively quiet street a little off the main tourist path. Easy access by train to/from airport. Close to a broad choice of cafes and restaurants. Close to subway and bus stations. The rooms are modest by american standards, but clean and comfortable enough.
“Wonderful Neighborhood”
The hotel is in a wonderful neighborhood - somewhat less of the tourist type area which we prefer. Room was just fine and the bathroom was super. We were there for one night because we were leaving for Zagreb the next morning. A bit of a walk from the metro so either take a cab or don't have much luggage. Staff very nice. The bakery around the corner has wonderful coffee and pasteries for breakfast which we opted for over the basement of the hotel. Really nice looking places to eat around the area.
“Mark Obert”
As others have said, it's conveniently located near Notre Dame in the Latin Quarter.
“Excellent Hotel in a fantastic location”
This hotel was excellent! The room was small (as is usually the case in Paris) but clean and furnished to a very high standard. I did not have breakfast but decided to make the 3 min walk to Notre Dame and eat there instead. Ideally located and well maintained with a very comfortable bed. Excellent!
