From the charming staff who welcomed me upon arrival to a different person who helped me load my bags in the taxi to leave, this was a lovely experience. The room [single]] was small and fully furnished, but it had style, very comfortable bed, free and easy to use wi-fi, and a full modern bathroom. It was just a few blocks from the Arc de Triumph and its metro stop, so for a 1.7 euro fare and three stops I was able to arrive from the train station, walking only a short way. I did not try the breakfast offered for a fare but the no charge late afternoon/evening "tea" was a nice touch--a couple of salads, cold cuts, pasteries, coffee/tea etc. The mini bar contained juices, soda, water and chips and was free--no alcohol option. I seldom keep names of hotels for possible return, but this one I have placed in my guide book to Paris. Excellent stay.

My husband and I were so pleased with our choice to stay at Residence Villa Daubenton for 4 days in Paris. Our room was large, the kitchen, bed, bathroom were great. We stayed in Room 01 on the first floor by the check in area. We had our own private garden...what a surprise! Easy to get to all of Paris from this area of town via the Metro (a couple of stops very close by). Strolling down Rue Mouffetard, cafe crema, the markets and cafes....it was just the experience we were hoping for in Paris. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The only caution I would give about this particular room is that because it is close to the front desk, you can hear people checking in and out and the public bathrooms outside the door. The walls are apparently thick though...because it did not bother us at all. I would highly recommend this location and hotel!!

"Very modern and clean room, 2 min from the metro"
I really enjoyed staying at this place: the room was newly furnished, very clean, and has a great modern decor; even on the ground floor it was quiet with the windows closed. There's a nice little garden with seats and a lobby area. The staff were friendly and professional.

The Josephine is an amazing boutique hotel in the heart of Paris. Beautifully located, with amazing decor and great attention to detail. I was particularly pleased with the level of cleanliness. Fresh crisp white sheets and a beautifully clean bathroom. A very comfortable shower that you will not want to get out of! A great spread for breakfast and very polite well mannered staff. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it wholeheartedly.

I stayed at the Magenta Hotel 38 for 6 days from August 14th - 20th 2014. I travelled with my daughter and teenage son and had a 3 person room. We were checked in at Reception by Bruno who was extremely pleasant and courteous and spoke to us in English. He was very helpful with information about buying our travel pass, tickets and getting to major attractions. Even after I returned home and called about a lost bag he was super helpful. I love the layout of the rooms and it was very neat and clean. The little fridge is a great addition to store food we bought and we made use of the safe. I was on the 3rd floor and it was really lovely and quiet. I sometime see the cleaners on our way in the morning and they were always pleasant and friendly. They do a fantastic job with cleaning and it’s great to return to cool, comfy, spotless room after a long day sightseeing. We travelled by Eurostar so the location is great, walking distance from Gare du Nord and other stations such as Gare du Lest with great links to Central Paris and major attractions. There was an issue with the sink not running which was not dealt with after speaking with 2 different persons at reception. However, this was sorted out when I spoke with Bruno. He really knows the true meaning of customer service. Absolutely amazing! I forgot a bag with some souvenirs and Cristina (Cardenal) has been superb with assisting me. She replied promptly to my emails and checked cost of postage etc. Cristina, you are another s

The Quality Hotel Axel Opera Paris (9 Arr) is located in a good area reasonably close (some 15 minutes walking distance) to Galleries Lafayette and other major stores. The Gard du Nord station is a 20 minute walk and the Louvre and Notre Dame some 50 minutes walking distance from the Hotel.
Our 3rd floor room was a double with a queen size bed, which was extremely comfortable, and an excellent shower. The room looked out on to a small courtyard with very little noise, a perfect situation for us.
A complimentary drink was offered on the day we checked in and complimentary buffet breakfast was also included for the duration of our stay. Free WiFi was also available in the room as well as 15 minutes free internet using a computer provided by the Hotel.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only slight negative concerned the hotel lift which was very small although adequate for 2 people with a small amount of luggage. That apart, our experience was a most enjoyable one and I would happily recommend the hotel to others.

"Cute little boutique hotel, perfect for our annive"
Lovely hotel 2min walk from the moulin rouge and montmartre, also a handy metro stop at the top of the road for getting everywhere else. Rooms are small, but hotel had lots of character. Staff are friendly and helpful, recommended a great local restaurant for our second night. Free wine tasting, afternoon snacks and honesty bar are a perfect added extra. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a comfortable base for exploring paris.
