very nice hotel,close to the harbour,mall &station

We actually enjoyed our stay at Mayfair, its swimming pools are great, they are running an entertainment show since morning for free, starting from water games during the day to end up with a bingo game and an evening event. Nice overall ambiance ; if i want to say something negative, it is curtains and AC restaurations. I advise all families to stay there.

good time had by all

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: entertainment staff
Cons: more staff on the bar and also chambermaid 7 days a week
Location: 5 min walk to big shopping center and walking distance to harbour and town
went all in for a change and found it excellent value entertainment staff were excellent with all ages however evening entertainment was lacking on certain nights everything was clean and our rooms were kept immaculate, but the cleaner was off every 5 days so beds were not made food was fine but after a week or so got very predicable although was still fine my only criticism would be the lack of bar staff on in the evening so there was a queue every time you went to the bar and he had to deal with waitress orders and people getting thei own

Well out of the way from beaches and unclean!!!

Posted 03-Aug-2014
Pros: Not much
Cons: It really needs a massive amount of money spending on it, revamping the whole hotel, better things to do and better entertainment.
Location: The only good thing is that it was near a new complex called Kings Avenue which has nice eateries and shops inside a big mall.
Hotel was awful, rooms were dated, only had 1 change of towels in a week and had to ask for them!!! Rooms really are dirty, the staff never cleaned around the pool area, pool showers were not working, it really was the Hotel from hell!!! YUK!!!!

POOR FACILITIES

Posted 21-Mar-2014
Hotel had 2 outdoor pools & 1 indoor pool, but none of them had water in. Bar was open for one night during our week stay. I realise it was out of season (mid March), but 1 working pool is not too much to ask.

Clean and comfortable

Posted 09-Aug-2013
Pros: Clean , spacious rooms
Hotel felt clean and quite well maintained but on the basic side . Breakfast was decent and reasonable choice of food. Nice pools . Low budget entertainment though. If you're not intending on spending your entire stay by the hotel pool then a car would be advisable, the main tourist area is 1 km away , walkable but difficult in the heat of the summer. There was a taxi rank next to the hotel .

Nice swimming pool

Posted 11-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
The swimming pool was very nice. the rooms were not as good and the surrounding neighborhood is bad is best to ask for a pool view room. on arrival we couldn't find any sunbeds for the pool, asked for help but they said well there aren't anymore sunbeds ( shouldn't they have enough for all guests??!) and didn't even try to check or help or bring a chair... some other guest gave us one sunbed. we had a nice time at the pool after that and made sure we put our towels to reserve two sunbeds the next day at 7 am :). they have a lunch buffet for seven euro(!) which is nothing special but still for that price was very satisfying. Oh and on arrival we were asked to pay even though we thought we already did that via hotels.com, so that was a small issue as we had our budget planned having in mind that the hotel was already paid for... If you want to go for a three star hotel though i would definitely recommend this hotel as you do get a little more than other hotels from the same category and the hotel is in a good location, close enough to kato paphos, harbor, bars, restaurants etc.
