A high quality hotel which is located approximately 15 mins walk from Paphos harbour. It is due to be remodel later this year so some areas are tired but the staff work tirelessly to make your holiday experience. I would recommend this hotel to friends or family.
Despite arriving after 10pm the check in desk at the hotel was open and staffed by a very friendly and helpful woman and a very efficient porter. We opted for one of the apartments (Ibiscus) which was light, well equipped and spacious especially as there were only two of us. The apartments are grouped around the hotel's second swimming pool which you can reach from your apartment's small patio area, providing privacy from the pool loungers if you want it. Breakfast was good although we felt that it finished a bit early (9.30) but we had been to a wedding the night before so for most people this is probably adequate. The hotel location is good, down a small side street so not at all noisy, with a few mini marts and cafes along it. The main tourist area is less than ten minutes walk which has more than enough bars and restaurants to keep you busy. For destinations further afield the bus stop is also very nearby. Overall a lovely hotel, with great staff, beautiful gardens and a welcoming atmosphere.

"Excellen hotel, staff very professional & friendly"
From when we arrived we were greeted by the lovely porter and the friendly reception staff. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast bar staff were very accommodating and nothing we asked for was too much of a trouble. They positvely bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The gym facilities are very good and better than all of the hotels I have been to before. Fantastic stay and wished I had booked a longer holiday. Would definately return. The little touches and things that they had thought about made this hotel special. For example every night you receive a little chocolate bar on the bed, we were there over the easter holiday and they provided our room with a package of sweet bread rolls, easter eggs. In the gym there was spare towels and fruit. It is this attention to detail that I really appreciated.

Akamas Peninsular, beautiful part of Cyprus. Humid and very warm. Sea incredibly warm. No jellyfish, wasps, litter. Water calm for waterskiing, especially early morning. Beach stony and surprisingly steep to get out of, but sandy away from water's edge. Hotel beautifully designed.
Very friendly staff. Plenty of varied cuisine, themed dinners etc. Very expensive food, so be warned. Hire car too small and aircon largely useless. Great deal to see if you like archaeology, history etc. We ate out in the port on one occasion, but it was not comparable with the hotel. (A menu running to ten pages, and every nationality catered for!) Excellent live music in the evening. Female singer/male guitarist - full repertoire. Both our male teenage children loved it, but no drunken party atmosphere. Just relaxed and very special. Highlight - taking a private boat along the coast to explore the beaches in the National Park.
We last stayed at Le Meridien about three years ago at the same time of year and were very impressed by the quality of the hotel and particularly its children's animation programme and facilities.
As before, the quality of the hotel did not fail to meet its previous excellent standards in terms of the accommodation, quality of service, food and facilities, but there was one disappointing area of the experience: when we last visited Le Meridien, there was an animation team of 6 to 8 happy young people around the hotel and the hotel pool most parts of the day, actively joining in and having fun with the children with a mission to make sure all the children had fun, as well as supporting the evening entertainment. On this visit, there were only two animation staff who did their best to please the children but at only one scheduled 30 minute activity in the day and for one hour's entertainment in the early evening, which fell short of our previous experience and expectation.
As our daughter does not really like children's clubs much (although the Penguin club at the hotel was well run), we were relying on the animation team and it was actually the main reason for our return. So as a result, we did not really have as much relaxation time as we did previously as we had to entertain our daughter ourselves all day long.
Had a fantastic stay at the Elysium.
It is a beautiful property. The breakfast is plentiful, the rooms are very comfortable, and the service is superb. We even got offered a courtesy room after checkout as we had a late flight!
The highlights include the themed nights with great buffet and live entertainment and the Epicurean restaurant and the Martini night by the sea!
