Tired dated apartment

Posted 21-Sep-2014
The apartment was roomy but the kitchen, sofa covering, plastic shower , combined made it just a tired and dated apartment! The staff on reception seemed to lack a wcoming and approachable style!

Could not fault this hotel

Posted 21-Sep-2014
Pros: The room was lovely and clean, free wifi, 24 hour reception, nice lounge area with patio, nice restaurant with outdoor dining. Staff also were good.
Cons: Blinds in the rooms let a lot of sunlight in the room so better blinds would improve the room. Also a better choice of cold snacks would be helpful:-)
Location: Great location, nice beach nearby with a harbor not far where you can do various boat trips. There is also a water park and plenty of shisha cafes.
Check in was easy and the receptionist was very welcoming although I arrived late at night. They even had a welcome drink and sandwich waiting. Hotel was lovely and the room was equally as nice. Really clean and comfortable. If I ever had to ring reception they were polite and helpful. I made a few requests regarding the room and mostly my requests were granted. The rooms have a decent sized balcony where it was pleasant to sit outside and there was free wifi in the room. The staff in general were lovely and helpful however I did feel the staff in the restaurant could have been friendlier and engaged with the customers more. However saying that the restaurant Manager Renata and the chefs were very friendly and made my stay even better. They do nightly themes in the restaurant which meant a great deal of variety for anyone eating in the hotel every night. I felt very relaxed and safe there as a young person staying alone. The pool was big with plenty of sunbeds and there is a really nice beach about a 15 minute walk from the hotel with sunbeds for just 2.50 euros. The hotel is in a great location and surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The hotel were really helpful in keeping my suitcases as I had a late check out and the staff in the bar gave a great service. There is also a beauty spa and pool room in the hotel which was handy. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Pafos.

Good Family Hotel

Posted 29-Jun-2014
Pros: Great facilities to cover a wide range of appeal to our boys and us alike
Cons: The rooms are basic but functional. The cleaning seemed a bit hit and miss and certainly not every day. All in all though it worked great for us.
Location: Close to the beach and a good selection of bars and restaurants.
We stayed here for a week. We're a family of 5 (3 boys aged 17, 14 & 4) and there was something for all of us. We're already planning a repeat trip.

Nice hotel close to beach

Lovely hotel ideal for all ages that works well with its sister hotel neaxt door so any combination of self catering/BB half board or full board works. Far enough from main towm to be quiet and trouble free but close enough to get to easily (5 minute bus ride or 20 minute walk). Can't fault hotel or staff.

Nice family hotel

Breakfast was very good although it was the same all through our 5 nights stay. We were in middle of April, and the weather was still chilly but the inside swimming pool was not heated at this time of the year. There is Wifi only in the lobby area. There are many restaurants and bars in walking distance from the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was very suitable for families.

Uninspired animation team and hotel entertainment

Posted 21-Apr-2014
Cons: Baby disco was very average, the kids club is no good for younger children. No aerobics classes or different activities during the day.
Location: A good walk to Phapos.
Nothing special at all. Room was just a little dated, could do with some refreshing. Long walk from Central Phapos. It's all a little to England focused. You could almost forget its Greek Island.

Great for families

The apartments are great for families, including travel cots and high chairs if necessary. The restaurants nearby are ideal with good play areas for kids. The swimming pool and lazy river are ideal for little ones, although they're not heated so get quite cold. (We were there at the end of October when it was quite cold at night so the pools were really cold in the mornings but did heat up noticeably as the day went on). The weather was perfect - high 20s at end of October. We had a lovely holiday here.

Perfect holiday complex for a relaxing holiday

Posted 23-Sep-2013
Pros: Big balcony, large rooms, clean.
Cons: Stop people saving sunbeds. Whilst there are plenty the 'best' position ones have towels on them all day, but may only actually get used for an hour.
Location: Lots of good restaurants nearby. Harbour is 25 minute walk away, walk along the seafront.
Large, comfortable rooms with kitchenette, living room and bedroom. Very clean, serviced 5 days a week, towels changed daily. Big swimming pool and lots of sunbeds. Perfect for a relaxing stay. You can also use the facilities of the Avanti hotel which is next door.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay

Posted 09-May-2013 on Hotels.com
A great place to stay - staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help, including giving a great overview of local facilities and things to see and do. The apartments were clean and very close to the large pools. You can use the facilities of the Avanti Hotel and Half Board if you choose it is taken there. We used the voucher you get at Check In if you are Bed and Breakfast only to get one night's reduced dinner for 11 Euros instead of the 17.50 Euros and we were disappointed with the choice and quality of food on offer for the so-called 'Gala Night' so I wouldn't recommend this option. The other restaurants around are much better, including the excellent (and reasonable) Ocean Basket which is only a 2-3 minute walk away. It's always busy though, so book. The Italian on the main road (Cavellinis) is also excellent for a special meal with great service. It got more busy towards the end of our stay (it was over their Easter) but there were still enough free sunbeds and umbrella spots to use, but I can imagine in high season that may be more difficult. It's the second time we've been and we still loved it.

Overall pleasant. But rooms are quite far and difficult to reach. We had an old lady and we had to call the golf cart every day for pick up and drop off even though we had requested a close and ground level room at time of reservation
