“still great”
This was our second year at the Aquamera and it did not disappoint. Rooms are very clean and the hotel is very relaxing as it not as big as some of the others nearby. We will definately be going back for a third/fourth time
“Good place to be!!”
Nice place for a 'get away' and biblical history
“Good hotel and great value”
We were extremely pleased with this great value hotel - we wanted peace and quiet with great sea frontage for good value prices - we got all that and more. The gym is free for guests and the other hotel ammenities are excellent. We enjoyed the walk into Paphos (approx 1 mile) most evenings along the sea front path which is being extended currently. We chose bed and breakfast but did eat in the hotel restaurant for the buffet meal which would be the half board option and would have been happy to eat there again - we might have been tempted to upgrade to HB had that been offered as we were only there for 5 nights. Would chose to stay there again and felt it gave more than expected!
“Excellent Hotel for Families”
Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were great and staff very friendly. We were concerned after reading some reviews, but were VERY happy with all aspects of hotel. Glad we didn't do the half board. It was nice to get out and explore.
“Enjoyable experience”
The Aquamare has the look and feel of a luxury hotel/spa. If you prefer medium sized hotels then this is definitely worth considering. The only problem was I paid for 3 adults (2 parents and 16 year old son) and got a standard room with camp bed. This was really not big enough for 3 beds and in any case, the 3rd adult should result in a 30% discount. Staff were reluctant to solve the problem, first of all telling us that we had made a mistake, then offering a family room at extra cost. It was only the next morning that they agreed to move us to a bigger room which was twice the size. Our stay overall was very pleasant and the hotel food much better than most with themed buffets so that you can have several dishes that all blend.
“Excellent service”
It's quite a walk to the tourist heart of Paphos - about half an hour along the sea edge, probably quicker by road. We had a hire car so it was ideal - better than being in the centre. Free underground and forecourt parking. Service was friendly with everyone trying hard. We had a sea view which we thought well worth it. Some 'sea view' rooms are at right angles to the sea. We wanted one directly facing and were immediately moved with good grace. The hotel was quiet (in Late Feb, early March) except for a bank holiday weekend when it was packed. Presumably there was a family special deal. Buffet breakfasts were plentiful. We wouldn't normally stay in a hotel of this style but small individual hotels are a bit thin on the ground in Cyprus. It proved to be a very good choice. It's smaller and far less tacky than some of the alternatives along this shoreline.
“Good enough for it's price”
Recently renovated. Clean Room & Bathroom.
