Attention all hands...

Pros: Cheap "top quality" room
Cons: the ammenities, employee knowledge of how to fix things like Cable TV, and fridgerators. Dont charge for ice.
Location: Pretty far out from town (lumut, Pangkor) they have Golf, Kayaking, Archery, Pool, Beach/Ocean but all of it is in pretty poor condition.
This place seemed great, price was a good deal, and the pictures made it look even better. When getting to Lumuts Naval base. Its about 60-80 Rinnget taxi ride out to this place. Once we got there they had scaffolding everywhere. We thought "Oh man got here at a bad time. Then my friends and I spoke to an australian couple that had been here all week and apperently the scaffolding had been up the whole time they were here with no activity on it besides monkey's. We get to our CLUB level room "which was theyre most expensive" and it was really no different then the "deluxe" or "executive" rooms. Literally the same style of room no bigger, no extra ammenities. My rooms Fridge didn't work. The TV channels quality sucked. and when asked to take a look they send the same dude that brought me ice (Ice btw is 5 RN) no free ice machines, and the A/C only does so much. The pool was ok. I'd go to Aeon mall and buy your own alcohol because this place charges 20RN for a beer. The Kayaks and Archery Range were in bad shape. The place seems to be in a lull when it comes to customer satisfaction, but it beat sleeping on the ship. Oh fridge had mold in it.

All facility was out of order. Pool are dirty.

Pros: non.
Cons: Cleaning method.
Location: Non. Location far from town.
Due to location was far away from town, the hotel facility shouldn't be out-of-service. Recreation department for kids was extremly dirty. This hotel might need to refurbish as overall the resort look very old and out-dated.

We enjoy playing and swimming at the beach.

Pros: exclusive
1) Towels given by hotel looks very old and low quality for 4 star hotel. 2) Wifi at lobby is hopeless (not able to view) and truly needs an upgrade / improvement.

Hotel has gone downhill

Went here 3 years ago , has gone downhill. Fewer food outlets open, poor buffet , service by staff generally not good.

Bad service at such a nice resort hotel.

When we called the house keeping for extra towel, unfortunately were only given after kept on reminding them 3 times at the interval of 45-60 minutes each time. It's a shame for not being attentive enough to theirnguest's request/needs.

Just disappointing.

Posted 03-Jan-2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: We heard of better food and services outside this resort, which got our attention to book them.
Swiss Garden Lumut is just a big disappointment. It fails to capitalise on its view and seaside frontage. Other than a stair case that leads to the beach and a washing point. At the other end is an old communication station overgrown with creepers stands. By then we decided that we will cut short our stay to one night. The buffet dinner which we have to pay for, is appalling compared to the breakfast included in our stay. Dim sum dumblings were left on the serving plate without a steamer. Salad and cold cuts left closed to a flame, what are you trying to do. We are left with no choice but move back to the simple comforts of Ipoh where most still bother to keep minimal standards.

Relaxing Place

Posted 10-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
This resort is very comfortable. It is to far from the nearest town, 45 minutes by cab, therefore you are a captive audience, drink are a little on the expensive side..Great for a relaxing stay and the pool is one of the best we have used
