“Aged”

This hotel must have been the top 20 years ago !!! We were upgraded to a suite on the 27th floor with a nice view of the city. Five phones in the suite,two 45 inches flat screen tv ,two bathrooms etc. But the furniture is old and not fresh at all... Comfortable bed and pillows and quiet. Car parking free of charge and a 20$ voucher for drinks at the bar or the pool. The front desk was A1 with bilingual clerks and quick servvice... Overall,a good deal....

Getting around
The taxis are very affordable .at that price,do not bother driving your own car in town.Ther are no adresses and often,no street names !!!!
Dining
Have lunch at the restaurant at the Miraflores locks;the food is great and the scenery worth the trip!!!

“Great Hotel”

I would book this hotel again. It was my second trip to Panama this year and I went back there. Good location, very clean hotel, very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

“Exclelent and very nice all the personal,”

The hotel is excelent as well as the free buffet breakfast and the tourism desk help in order to select different options. We receive daily credit in the amount of $20.00 dollar for drinking that we used at restaurant. bar and pool. Very good location. I will be back!

“Excellent option in Panama City.”

This hotel is in an excellent location, linked directly to a major shopping mall and entertainment complex. The hotel rooms are large, well-designed and extremely comfortable. The restaurants in the hotel are all excellent. There is free wifi throughout the entire hotel. All in all, a good option, particularly for business travellers.

“Dance club or hotel?”

The hotel appears to be casting its image as a dance club. If you like dance clubs, then this place is for you. It's not my taste, though. The halls are austere cement that are lit with dim blue recessed bulbs, which I found too dark for practical purposes like finding your room (and a bit depressing). The check-in desk shares space with a bar/dance club, making it difficult to communicate with the staff at the desk due to the loud dance music. Breakfast was excellent. Try the huevos rancheros, if you stay here.

“The Radisson Decapolis was great!”

The location is excellent, just off the Corredor Sur expressway from the airport. The hotel is conncected by walkeay to the Magestic Casino and the Multicentro Mall. The bar and the restaurant had excellent service and good food. We were each given a coupon for $20 in the bar. The views from our room were beautiful. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Panama.

Area recommendations
The hotel or financial district. The are centrally located, easy to reach from the airport and provide quick access to the Corredor Sur expressway, major shopping and all other attractions.
When to go
Go during the dry season, late December through May. March is said by locals to be the best month for visiting.

“LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR NEXT STAY.”

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING TO PANAMA CITY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE AND THE RADDISON WILL BE OUR CHOICE, WE DO NOT FEEL THE NEED TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER HOTEL.

“Tops in everything!”

When it rained, there was an enclosed bridge over to the largest shopping center in the country. The price for what we received was very reasonable and the decor, elevators, breakfast (free), free cocktails and service were over the top. The chain owns another outlying restaurant with free transportation, provision for outdoor dining and a Cuban band playing upbeat music along with a fabulous menu and great cuisine. There is a pedestrian-only shopping street adjacent to the old town with out of this world prices on clothes, etc. Lots of security in tourist areas. A great adventure for a couple who went around the world twice last year.

Area recommendations
See the canal up close at Miraflores lock. Visit the old town (Day is best) and stay at the Radisson Decapolis in mid-city.
