“good value hotel”

Very modern hotel in downtown area, convenient for shopping and easy commute. Had some minor glitches at check-in but the staff was very attentive and took care of problems within reasonable time frame. More staff members spoke English which was encouraging. Would stay here again.

“Best Western David, Chiriqui, Panama”

The hotel Gets a poor review for four reasons: 1). There was NO hot water in the shower or sink while we stayed (4 nights) at the Worst Western David, Panama. The last night the water was barley warm. 2). We asked for a phone for three days and only on the last night did we get a phone in the room (because we had an emergency and needed to call the USA). 3). What was advertised as a continental breakfast was terrible. The food served by the restaurant for the evening meals was very under par by Panama standards. 4). The hotel was overpriced based upon my checking several other hotels in David and the surrounding areas, and especially considering the above three items. Having used Expedia for international travel in the past, this hotel was far below the expected level. Expedia should take this hotel off their hotel list.
