Bad Service at 6pm when checking in with 30 minute wait for clerk to come check us in. Elevator was stuck for 15 minutes We were suppose to have a king size bed - we didn't. Heater wouldn't work. Toilet was stopped up Pot smokers present Etc, etc.

This hotel is extremely disgusting. Looks like we were staying in an abandoned building. The room keys didnot work to a lot of people rooms. We literally checked in and left to go tour the area came back and our hotel room was booked to somebody else, we waited for 30 minutes so the front seat could find another room for us. Not the beach view room we booked. Like we was told we could not get a refund 5 mins after we checked it.

The heat didn’t work at all, No clean towels. Toilet dirty. Bedding dirty. Tub nasty. I kept hitting my ankles on the bed and now I have a bruise and the lady that works at Front desk was rude and rolling her eyes and said if y’all going to complain y’all can leave, I said i need my money back and there rooms was False advertisement. So I checked out and booked another hotel somewhere else

Checked in and back out 4 hours later. Unsafe as entry door didn’t close properly and unacceptable smell of pot smoking outside the door. Baymont and Wyndham have been contacted with no resolution for a refund. The BBB will be my next recourse.

worst property I’ve ever stayed at! I stayed there day before Valentine’s Day and on Valentine’s Day and it was the worst Valentine’s Day I’ve ever had in my life and I got divorced on Valentine’s Day so this is worse than that. it said there would be a breakfast, and there was no breakfast. There was two bagels in the whole huge breakfast area. I got verbally attacked by one of the employees because he said I was taking too much food when all I did was take the only last two bagels there were, and there was I was there first thing in the morning when the buffet is supposedly it opened, long story short had a horrible time is verbally attacked was kind of scared a little bit because the employee was so nasty and mean will never go back there and Valentine’s Day is scarred and ruined for life. Don’t ever go to the Wyndham Beaumont in Panama City Beach Florida ever I’m warning you.

I thought , as this motel was under the ownership of Wyndham , it would be of an acceptable standard , I was wrong . The property was filthy and in disrepair . There were numerous empty rooms with the doors open to the room itself . The property was primarily occupied by pimps and prostitutes , “ John’s” coming and going day and night . Whomever is “ allegedly “ managing the property has invested neither time nor money . Wyndham , as a corporation, should be ashamed.

Definitely not as nice as the pictures. We got there and it’s in a beaten down parking lot, with apartments in the back. Trash all over the property. We were there for 4 days and they did not clean our room or give us fresh towels once. The rooms have mold growing on the baseboards and in the bathroom. Our bathroom door didn’t fit the door frame and wouldn’t close. Shower curtain had blood on it. TV would intermittently shut off.

Lack of cleanliness
The bathroom door was shut and locked when we arrived. When it was opened by the staff, there was no clean towels in it which leads us to believe the bathroom wasn't cleaned. Staff put fresh towels in as soon as they noticed. My husband found the bath tub wasn't draining and when he checked there was a huge hair ball in the drain. We also found cob webs inside the lamp shade when we turned it on. The day we checked out a storm blowed through and our door didn't have a seal on it so rain blew inside our room leaving a huge puddle in front of the door. Also, when we went to get breakfast, there wasn't any food.

Not comfy but doable
I booked this room on hotels.com and paid extra for the so-called ocean view. The hotel itself was actually across the street from the beach with no view of the ocean, so when I got there and found out they told me there was a view of a little inlet on the back part so I got a room there instead. I was really looking forward to being right on the beach but they didn't charge me for the resort fee at least. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful. We got to the room and Mom cut her leg a little bit on a piece of metal that was sticking out from the bed, so we called and they came to fix it. Mom said she saw a roach and killed it, I never saw it but I don't doubt her. The beds were uncomfortable but clean, the pillows were horrible and you should definitely bring your own. The toilet was low as all get out which would probably be fine for people in wheelchairs and children, but it was very uncomfortable for two tall adults. Bathtub seemed clean enough and water pressure wasn't too bad. The sink to wash your hands got really hot really fast to the point of getting burnt if you didn't turn on the cold water first and just introduce a little bit of hot water at a time. The key lock worked the whole time with the card they gave us, it was fairly quiet as we didn't have a neighbor on either side of us except for around 3:00 a.m. when I went outside to have my last cigarette and someone was banging on a door down the hall. It's close to a lot of things by the beach.

Expedia lists a resort fee due at the property. When you get to the property, they demand double. This property is NOT a resort and has absolutely zero amenities or features that make a resort a resort, so why they are even charging that fee is beyond me. And it is located in a creepy bog that makes Shreks swamp look like the 4 seasons. The property is absolutely filthy and abhorrent. It's something you would see depicted in a movie of a Third World country. We had no other options at the time so my husband decided to try and muscle through but he didn't want to put his face on the pillowcase because there were stains all over them so he went to the front desk to ask for some clean pillowcases and the person at the reception desk said "why, what's wrong with yours?". When he told her what was wrong, her suggestion was to use a towel and place it over the pillows. There were bugs inside picture frames, the wall was rotting and exposed in the bathroom, there was pubic hair, stuck to the wall, all of the furniture look like it was purchased at a garage sale back in 1992. It was not clean in any way, shape, form or fashion and straight up, looked like a Haven for junkies and vagrants. (no offense, junkies and vagrants.) I have photographs and video of this room, and I would really love to upload them in my review. I reached out to the Wyndham chain of hotels to share the experience and I was offered 7500 points for the inconvenience. They never addressed any of the issues

I would not recommend this place. Except for the gentleman who checked us in staff was poor. No coffee in breakfast room-Staff didn’t seem concerned. More than once we went to lobby to ask question and no staff were there (sign up out to lunch). Room floor was filthy, lacked working smoke detector (detector was laying on floor), water was so hot I burned my hand, peep hole in door totally missing and stuffed with tissue.

At check in I was hit a $19 dollar a day resort fee for a non resort hotel. The hotel had no amenities only offering amenities at other hotels. The hotel itself was crusty and rusty reminding me of a 1980s motel 6 six with the attraction of being cheap. Wyndham has some explaining to do for putting its name on this disaster.

This place has been neglected for a long time. Exterior has lots of issues: peeling paint,rust,bad elevator. Elevator areas on G,3,4 were nasty and unkempt. I stayed for 2 nights. No regular coffee was available ever. Stay somewhere else. This place is a disgrace to Wyndham properties.

Not like the photos!
There are signs of remodeling, very poor remodeling. Building is showing its age. Look past the dirt and peeling paint, if you can. Bed linen was clean; breakfast is not a breakfast but the bare minimum to stay out of legal issues (false advertisement). 24 hr. coffee in lobby did not exist - oh, the spot was there, just no coffee. Wish to be disappointed, this place will do it!

Great Value
At the price point, you won't find a better deal. Its under renovation so it appears rough, and it is, but the rooms are CLEAN and the beds comfy. Great location. BS $19 "resort fee", but atill a great deal. Free "breakfast" is sketchy but heyyyy, its free! Gas station burritos and tropicana bottle juices isnt so bad. Oh! Beach access right across the street is great! And theres a bar and grill across street, so thats good. Not so sure id bring the family due to the sketchy occupants, but if solo for a night or 2 for work, sure, why not.
