Staff from YanYan at the front desk to almost every part of the location was perfect. I enjoyed room service more than than eating at Quattro though because it seemed to be really slow ... taking a long time for a turkey sandwich is unproductive.
The front desk and manager did something incredibly kind for me, they let me try out different kinds of bed toppers to see what felt the best each night.

Stayed a weekend to attend an event at Stanford University. The hotel is well maintained, clean and updated. Spacious rooms, very quiet and comfortable. Staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel layout is a bit confusing at first, but it allows rooms to have views of various scenic courtyards. The street access for cars is a bit difficult. Southbound access requires a U-turn on El Camino. However, once familiar, it is not an issue. Guest parking is relatively small. Large cars will find it challenging. Overall, a very nice hotel that seems to fit the Westin upscale image.
The staff was very professional and helpful. The feel of the hotel is very calming and loved the pool set up in the middle of the hotel with the open views from the dinning and lounge.It even has laundry on site and allows dogs!
I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner and a stay at the Garden Court. Staff were very helpful. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. We had a balcony that overlooked an inner courtyard. The hotel offers room service breakfast but instead we had breakfast at the Il Fornaio adjacent to the hotel. A lovely experience all around and well worth the price.
Let me just say this hotel was very nice on the inside, not so much on the outside. The staff was very friendly and helped my friends and I get to downtown Palo Alto with little trouble. The staff was more than happy to answer any and all questions regarding the area which was nice because we all were not too familiar with Palo Alto. The room included: free wi-fi, free breakfast (toast and mini cinnamon rolls), a refrigerator, microwave, starbucks coffee in the morning, ironing board and iron. We were set! I would definitely recommend this hotel for the weekend or even just for the night, it's well worth it! Oh and P.S. the beds were very comfortable!

I had to visit Stanford Medical Center and needed a hotel to stay at close by. This hotel was that plus so much more. The Pool was the best I have ever seen at any hotel I have stayed at.
If I had to write a complaint it would be that the front desk staff seemed pre-occupied and not overly excited to help. As well as only some of the rooms you are able to get to using the elevator. I am disabled and was stuck in a room quite far from the elevator, but down to sets of stairs, so wasn't even able to use a luggage cart. When I asked for help, the person that came to help was very cheerful and gratefully obliged, but I realized he had only helped and hung around at the end to get a tip (definitely deserved a tip, but would have preferred to just be able to take the luggage cart to the room). They did wave my parking fee to make up for it, so that was wonderful.
All in all, I loved the stay and will be staying here again next time I have to visit stanford.
