This is our 5th stay at the H10 Punta Negra, which says alot.
From the beginning to the end of our stay it was a positive experience.
Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff both outside, insisting on taking my suitcase in, to the helpful staff on the reception, who offered us either a glass of sparking wine or water as a welcome drink, which was a very nice touch after a long journey!
We arrived at mid-day in advance of the normal check-in time of 2pm, but they found us a room which was where we wanted to be in the main building which was available straight away with a lovely view out over the swimming pool.
The breakfast on the first floor was amazing, every product was freshly cooked and baked and it was just delicious, we used to get down there just after 7.30am when it opened to be able to get a table from which you could see the bay of Palma Nova.
We ate dinner in the restaurant, our first night only. The standard of food was excellent. We went out on our other nights to eat in Palma.
The staff are helpful and friendly, always polite, we managed to keep our room on until 6pm on our last day as we were leaving late.
Hoping to come back again next year if at all possible.
Close to local amenities and a short taxi ride from the airport, Son CALIU is perfectly located for a short break in the sun. Bright and spacious with great views of the sea, and you only need stroll a short distance before you're sat on the beach. Complimentary towels and dun loungers for hotel guests is a great touch.
Breakfasts are hearty and the choice is good and you can work it off in the well equipped gym!
As returning customers we requested a balcony with afternoon sun and sure enough that's what we got.
Our group would happily return and would certainly recommend this great hotel.
Good experience.Close to restaurants and shops.staff pleasant and helpful. It was mentioned that in room safe is included but then was told that i have to pay for that. Also paid for wifi in the room but it worked only on one device which was not fair.
Absolutely perfect experience. All the staff were great. The entire hotel has modern vibe to it. Perfect location in Palmanova with restaurants and shops lining the same street. The beach isn't the best of Mallorca but it is a great beach nonetheless. Only one minor hiccup... we arrived late and our sea view room was not available, but the staff rectified that the next morning without any issues. Would absolutely stay here again if our vacation takes us to Mallorca.
We went to meet family who often stay at Son Matius. I cannot believe da number of returning guests participating in the hotels loyalty programme.
Adults only is a plus? Food was good & entertainment varied. Free wifi is a positive and al rooms have a sea view.
The only two things I would change are the brown bath towels and charge for a safe.
This was perfect for our stay. The room had everything we needed, although not sure I would think about washing on holiday! The kettle didn't work when we arrived and the staff changed it immediately for a new one. The facilities were just enough for us to use to have breakfast, make a light lunch and we even cooked one evening. Great location, not in the centre which may have been too much, but only a 5 min work (whichever road you took) on to the front. Don't expect 5* - for the price we paid, it was exactly what it said it was.

One of the first purpose-built tourist destinations on the island, Palma Nova lies just North of Magaluf and features three sandy beaches: Playa de Son Maties, Playa de Palma Nova, and Playa des Carregador. Here you can laze on the beach under the Spanish sun or take a glass-bottom boat or catamaran cruise. If you get hungry you will find plenty of restaurants and bars along the vast promenade.
