“Great place to stay”
Great hotel -love the ducks
“Stay somewhere else”
Reserved a room with 2 queen sized beds for four people. At check in (3pm) I was told there were only rooms with king beds. When I asked where the other 2 people were going to sleep, I got a blank stare. Was told I could call to get foldaway beds delivered to the room. I called and it took several hours to be delivered. Service is poor, and cleanliness of property are sub par.
“Will never go back!! Yuck!!”
The layout of this hotel is absurd! From check in to the actual room is a 1 1/2 mile drive. The problem is..it's impossible to find! I will never return to this place again! I'm coming back to Rancho Mirage...staying at the Westin!!
“Comfort & good golf course”
Westin Pete dye golf course is great...... (except without GPS..)
“Absolutely Stunning!”
This resort was absolutely beautiful, from the lobby, to the grounds, to the room, etc. The pool area was a true gem and lots of fun. Ping pong, water slide, and much more, something for everyone. View of fountains and streams out your patio to lush golf course views. Didn't want to leave!
“Mirage”
A genuine oasis.
“Comfort and Hospitality; but needs a good powerwashing!”
The hotel staff is great. The grounds are beautiful. The Westin bed was spot on; as usual. The pool area was great. The outside of the building needs some work, very dirty. The tv reception was terrible. Maintenance man said they had bad reception and offered us a free movie rental to ease the pain.
“GREAT STAY FOR THE COST”
When I read the reviews on the hotel it was about 50/50, some liked it, some didn't. I have no idea why anyone wouldn't like this hotel. They keep the grounds immaculate and the rooms are all very well kept. I would definitely stay here again.
“Favorite Hotel in the Desert”
We love coming to this hotel for the beauty of its grounds and the comfort of the hotel. It is reletively small and intimate, you don't feel like you are sharing it with a crowd of people. We love to walk in the morning on the extremely well kept grounds and watch the sun come up, the view is terrific.
“Had a relaxing time at the Westin”
I booked this trip with my friend so we could get away and relax in beautiful surroundings with quiet. The resort is open and spacious with a nice main pool and a smaller "adult only" pool if you dont want kids around. we found the hotel to be very nice with manicured grounds and friendly service. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice desert getaway. They have good food at the restaurant and an excellent brunch on sunday. They dont let locals in to use the pool like the Agua Caliente and Marriott do which ruins the pool and overcrowds the area with unsavory people.
