“Location, Location, Location.”
Nice rooms in a cozy hotel with lovely grounds. The hotel's location is close to most of the important sites in Palm Springs. The staff was helpful and free wifi was useful.
“anonymous”
Nice location, nice grounds, lumpy beds. Pleasant staff, near the mountain, fences all over suggesting that the neighborhood ain't too swift after dark. Not bad overall, but no bars of soap, only soap and shampoo dispensers. The lumpy beds are what made sleep difficult. Even the non-flat screen TV worked anyway! For the price, I'll bed Travelodge or Motel 6 could equal the bed, if not the nice grounds. I want to go higher, but a 2 it is. Don't think I'll go there again, but it is probably better than others. Had a conference at the Hotel Zozo, and it also looked rundown without any real redeeming features. Maybe they all are in PS!!!??? This one was once a gem, I think. Seems like it could have been much better without too much trouble!!!
“Hotel room does not represent the photos on the internet.”
Furniture and Decor Out dated ! Carpet stained and old. Walls, wood trim dented and beat up.Not all what we where expecting ! Very Disapointed !
“Not Impressed”
This hotel although conveniently located was very run-down. The paint was chipping & the tile in the bathroom was cracked. There were very few pictures on the walls & a mirror was nailed to the wall crooked. We have stayed at better Motel 6's before! The pool was nice & the staff were friendly but the room was ghetto & it was not worth the money we paid! Needs a complete overhaul! We will not be going back there!
“Great View and Location”
We have stayed here before. The location is perfect and the view magnificent. Our room's air conditioning wasn't working very well and we finally called to complain. They were very apologetic and moved us to another room. The pool was great. Nice families are usually there and many from Europe are there as well. California Pizza Kitchen has pool side delivery which is great. We will go back again.
“Stayed here several times and will go back”
Fantastic location, can walk everywhere from art museum to Starbucks to great restaurants and shopping! Quiet and peaceful setting with stunning pool. Help is nice and discreet.
“A repeat visitor to the Palm Mtn Resort”
I've stayed here a few other times, so I knew what to expect. It's a wonderful, superb location to the downtown bar/restaurant area (compared to the glitzy far-flung resorts that are all car-dependent). This is also a no-frills place. Bed is rather lumpy. Pool is nice, but fairly small. Rooms are reasonably large & have refrigerators for your drinks & leftovers, but they're nothing to get excited about. This is a great place for value-minded folks. They've got free internet/computer (well, there's a mandatory $8/day resort fee...) which is a nice touch, but the computer in their lobby is so miserably slow. It's nice that they offer it for those of us who don't need to have a laptop glued to our backsides. However, it should be functional. Maid service is fine, but incredibly slow. They seem to think it's fine to get around to your room in the late afternoon (4 PM).....just when one is trying to take a nap during the heat of the day & recharge for a "night out".
“Great Location & good price”
Location is great, staff is accomodating and rooms are clean. Pool is decent and again location is great~! good value for the money if you don't plan on spending much time in your room.
“not what we expected”
When we made the reservation we thought we were not going to have to leave the resort. There is no restaurant no bar or lounge and the pool was not big at all.
“DO NOT STAY!!!”
Pictures on site were misleading. It was obvious some of the rooms were remodeled and were used for the site. Our room was filthy with feces and snot on walls and floor. The toilet wobbled. When asked if we could change rooms due to the condition, we were told outright "NO!" Will Not stay there again. Would have been happier at a Motel 6!
