“A Quiet Place to Relax”
Great Place! Check-in and check-out very slow--only 2 people working on holiday weekend! Other than that---great place!
“Unhappy with resort fee”
The "resort fee" is not justified. The facility is older, parking is inconvenient, coffee service in the room was very poor, no coffee in the lobby, etc. it is a nice place to stay but it is not outstanding.
“Had a wonderful time”
I needed a get away to somewhere I had never been and this place was a great choice.
“too much noise”
Hotel staff starts to work at 6am in the summer months with grounds keeping. understandable due to the heat during the day. However that made it so we could not sleep. Staff carts are coming and going right outside your door, backing up and beeping. It was really crazy! Pools are right outside your door, so noise level is high. Great looking hotel for sure! Just wasn't relaxing. Bring ear plugs!!
“Not impressed”
Not impressed, our room was far from lobby and main pool, big dead cockroach in the bathroom. Only one restaurant was open inside this resort, we stayed on weekdays.
“Don't spend your money on this hotel.”
My boyfriend and I went to spend the weekend at this hotel and were not impressed at all. First, the hotel rooms are outdated and old. Second, the property is way too big. It is not only has hotel rooms but residences as well, which makes for lots of walking in the heat. Third, the pool could of been a bit cleaner. I do have to say that the gardens at the entrance of the hotel are nice, but other than that, save your money and stay elsewhere.
“Lovely resort from another era”
This resort has it all - golf, tennis, pools, dining, etc. We are a couple in our late 40's who recently took a four-day break at La Quinta Resort. The grounds are beautiful. We were near a large pool with very loud music but we were able to grab our margaritas from the bar at that pool and walk to one of the other quieter pools. This resort allows dogs. There was a real mix of families with very young children all the way up to senior couples. There are two golf courses within a ten minute walk from the lobby of the hotel. Tennis facility is amazing.
“Our little secret”
Pleasantly surprised.....peaceful and full of surprises. I only wish the room had some better info (simple to read) on dining etc....otherwise great place to get away from it all !!!
“La Quinta Resort”
We stayed here last year in a King Casita Suite and LOVED it. For this reservation, we requested same type of room. Upon checking in we were told that they were "upgrading" our room to a Suite, with kitchen, living room, even 2 bath's. We were excited...until the water heater did not work, after calling front desk THREE times, no water pressure in the kitchen. And Cockroch's by the TONS. We had also asked the bellmen for some items for patio and never received them. So we do enjoy this Resort, but felt as if we were put in the corner, so to speak. The food was wonderful at each restaurant at the Resort. We will return, but will also make sure we get the other room!
“might not be worth the price”
Nowadays, might be better options in the desert. The "desert beetles" (BIG cockroaches) didn't make us big fans. The air conditioning didn't work in our room the first night. I will say that once we called about both issues, they were handled immediately and both were resolved. We were renumerated for our "issues" as well. So shouldn't complain.
