“Walls a bit thin...”

Great family hotel - too bad we were on a couple getaway. Walls a bit thin - neighbors could be heard even talking normally. The daily resort fee was not worth it for us - did not use one resort amenity as we were there to golf. If you have small children it is an ideal location with beautiful pool areas etc. Great location - close to lots of golf courses. Rooms could use a bit of an update but common areas have all been redone. Would recommend to ask for a quiet wing - perhaps they should consider an adult only wing since a lot of golfers stay there.

“Want to stay again, but never go to dining”

We satisfyed the quality of the hotel and enjoyed our stay. We had dinner at the dining of hotel. The price was reasonalble, but the foods (at least we ordered) were not so great.

“Highly recommend”

This hotel offered everything I was looking for. The room we were given was extremely well laid out for two people who are not a couple with several steps between the area for each bed. There was a lovely balcony with a pleasant view and many different pool areas to choose from. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the mountain views from the pool were excellent. Also, they have a very well-equipped gym.

“relaxing, fun and exciting”

We had a great time, i love the many different pool options this hotel offered. we also enjoyed the food, it was very tasty. i would definitely go back to the Hyatt. Please keep me informed of any upcoming deals.

“Not impressed”

We heard this hotel is getting a renovation and it needs it.

Comment from the hotel's management

the hotel closed July 6th for one month to completely destroy and rebuild our main lobby! Completed September 1st, you will now see open floor space and higher ceilings, modern furniture, dramatic red leather walls and LED lighting. The bar and 26 suites were done last summer, and we have made numerous enhancements throughout. Professional photoshoot is scheduled for next week and we hope to get the photos online updated by First quarter of 2012. I hope you will return to Grand Champions in the near future to see our transformation!

“"WOULD OF MOVED IN IF I COULDA"- Lauren from la”

Seriously, if anyone complains they need to volunteer in a third world country for peace corps and get a reality check.THIS PLACE WAS WONDERFUL! From the minute i booked this hotel FOR ONE DAY, we get there and check in was smooth and when i asked about late check out."We would LOVE TO EXTEND IT UNTIL 1:00 TOMORROW".WTH? Wow! I'm used to the word no constantly. Then it was followed with "you should call in the morning and we can see if we can extend it until 2:00". wow! I'm 41 and found out there is A GENIUNE WATERSLIDE. We must have slid down it at least 1000 times. Our room was big, bathroom was very roomy and best of all it was quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. Word to the wise, you will get a 23.00 resort fee charge during checkout for using the pools. Donnot spend money EATING in the hotel, just go get food either at the nearby grocery or many surrounding restaurants if you want to save money. If you plan on drinking BEWARE, 2 margaritas and a coke came to 28.00. BRING THE BLENDER, TEQUILLA AND MIXER AND DO IT YOURSELF! The grounds are very pleasant, there is a koi pond thats huge and the spa is wonderful. Best of all, all the children were respectful of everyone. Came back feeling as if we had been gone 4 days instead of 24 hours.

Great resort in a great location. A little overpriced though, especially given the choices of other resorts in the area. Not enough restaurants on the premises. Would stay again.
