Friendly and helpful staff. Large suites with very well appointed kitchens, including full-sized fridge. It is possible to live very comfortably in these rooms. Grounds and facilities are well maintained, and excellent location, across from the beach.
I had a very relaxing stay in this resort. The staff were friendly and efficient and the place was close to the shopping centre and restaurants. There was free use of the barbeque free WiFi! I would definitely stay again, thank you! :-)
The overall hotel pretty much fit its representation online. There were mixed reviews mostly regarding the room allocation and access to above ground rooms and that pretty much was consistent with our experience. The hotel was small, boutique, nothing too fancy but simple. It was nicely situated right across from a great beach in an area with lots of dining choices. The front desk is not open all night so if you are coming in from the Cairns airport you need to arrange for the combination to a key lockup. Avoid driving at night if you are from North America and uncomfortable with manual stick shifts and driving on the other side of the road! The roads are small, filled with chicanes and roundabouts that can throw a first-time traveller. Consider arranging for a shuttle pickup and then rent a care when in Palm Cove.
Manager, John was hospitable and helpful. The biggest disappointment was the room (105). It was ground floor and adjacent to a common area/foyer and the rubbish bins at the side. It had a skimpy door/lock that did not look or feel secure and there was no safe in the room which added to a feeling of no security. The room opened onto a claustrophobic and damp little courtyard ringed with a very high fence that prevented any air from entering the room. This caused the air in the room to be very close and stale. Air conditioning unit did not function optimally. Bed was poor on comfort.

The room was small but very clean, had the all the basics you need to be able to be self sufficient and I was able to cook most of our meals at home, do the laundry, etc. The new deck, outside area and pool are the highlights of the stay. The airconditioner worked well, the bed comfortable and it was lovely to choose to eat on the balcony or inside. Our hosts kept a very low profile, but that didn't bother me. Palm Cove is beautiful, stunning in fact, but the restaurants are pricey so it was excellent to be able to cook own meals and save a lot of money. Undergound parking was great too.

I cannot fault the Sea Temple and especially the staff. Seeking some winter sun for my husbands bitthday, I booked our shirt break the day before travelling and emailed the restaurant to book a table for our birthday dinner the night after. Arriving from a late flight from Sydney just after midnight, we were welcomed and went straight to our room which had the best bed ever. I'd booked the basic studio room which had everything we needed and plenty of space for 2. Breakfast was everything you need from a buffet, and service at every touch point of the hotel was perfect. The icing on the birthday cake was my husbands birthday dinner - lovely touches to celebrate his day such as a personalised menu and iced 'Happy Birthday' chocolate dessert greeting with perfect service and awesome food topped off a great stay. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff even better. Genuinely friendly service. I was undecided between dining at the hotel or heading out to Vivos (rated number 1 for local dining) but the hotel was the right choice. We dined at Vivos the following night and it was really lovely but for a celebration, the Pullman took line honours for just being that more intimate and personal experience.
