“Riviera Beach hotel not recommended”

The room is very small. Very smelly. Second and last time we will stay there. Staff was friendly, but we had the feeling of being watched at all times.

“Gross”

We first got to the motel late - it was after midnight and we had to walk in this little room that had cameras, security glass, everything - I guess they have had problems in the past with crime. This motel is right off of a busy and loud road. I was afraid we would be up all night listening to the noises of cars and sirens but the room blocked most of it out. I got into the bathroom and it looks like it had been freshly redone; however, it was done poorly. The shower floor felt GROSS and while in the bathroom I got to meet a little german cockroach. The sheets had stains on them and the bed felt almost damp - I'm guessing from the humidity. The TV was nice and large. We went to grab breakfast the next morning and our options were toast, english muffins, cereal, or oatmeal - not much to choose from if you are trying to get some protein in your breakfast. I would not go back - spend a couple extra bucks and stay in a nicer place.

“Absolute Steal for Price...”

Was expecting terrible things after reading the reviews (stupidly after I had made the booking), but I was pleasantly surprised. For the price of this hotel, it is great. Your standard travelodge rooms, bathroom could have used some updating but other than that.... The only pitfall is of course the area which is quite bad. We havent experienced any problems and our car remained in tact :) Hotel perfect for a quick stopover.

“Travelodge by Rapids Water Park, FL”

The hotel was very close The Rapids Water Park, but the neighborhood wasn't the best. Hotel was in okay condition. You can tell they remodeled some stuff. It was really cool that the hotel had free razors and shaving cream, since we forgot ours at home.

“Scary dirty hole”

This hotel turned out to be a hideous crack den off a highway. there was a curtain across the window but no blind so in order to feel safe in my room and have no one see inside, i had to sit with the curtain drawn completely in the dark. the only food nearby was dennys, wendy's and dominos all of which are disgusting (sorry americans). the comings and going went on all night as did the various parties surrounding me. the bedcover had cigarette burns in it and the fridge was leaking water the whole stay. all in all i felt dirty, unsafe and isolated. avoid at all costs!!

“pleasantly surprised! would love to go back!”

Was unexpectedly "stranded" in Riviera Beach Fl. Was referred to Travelodge by Expedia. Didnt expect much due to low price but was pleasantly surprised! Manager was helpful & professional. Rooms were clean & smelled fresh & clean. Outdoor pool was clean, well maintained & water temp was perfect! Staff brought us extra clean towels without being asked (so fresh that they were still warm from the dryer!). If I could, I would go back frequently just to get away but unfortunately I live in Illinois. If you're looking for a nice clean well maintained place to stay that has a nice pool & friendly, professional staff, this is it! I generally dont bother to comment on things much, but was so pleasantly surprised that I have to give credit where credit is due. Thanks for making my stay so relaxing & enjoyable! Keep up the great work!
