Lovely place

Posted 03-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff were very helpful. Pool was great especially for the kids.
Cons: It's a shame the surrounding area is used as a bit of a rubbish tip but this is not to do with the hotel which is clean and rubbish free.
Great little apartment with a beautiful view. Excellent room facilities and very modern but there were some other older looking apartments which didn't look as nice.

Villaggio Petruso,s location is a bit hard to find, roads are in poor condition, but once there the place was clean & tidy also quiet[no traffic noise]. A car is essentual[even to get to the beach] which is not brillant. We enjoyed our 4 night stay there.

A Super Sicilian Stay

Posted 13-Jul-2012
Pros: Staff, view from the pool
Cons: A little longer walk to the town than we might have liked (but the staff offered us lifts).
Location: Beautiful.
We had a lovely trip. The staff (especially Petrio) could not have done more for us. It is a beautiful area and there's some super little restuarants to try.

Peaceful Holiday

Posted 31-May-2012
Pros: Peaceful location, friendly staff, clean & tidy and good value for the cost.
Cons: Nothing of signicant importance to mention.
Location: Residence Villaggio Petruso location was difficult to find, a car is a must, the upside was a peaceful location in the hillside with views of the sea.
Our accomodation was clean and tidy, basic and a little worn. The staff friendly and very courteous. The pool area was clean. Although courtesy transport is available I consider a car to be a must if you want to enjoy the area fully. The beach is a trek away and the local town Balestrate is also a 30 minute walk. Residence Villaggio Petruso location was difficult to find, however once we reached Balestrate and rang the hotel a member of staff did come to town and guide us to the Residence. The upside was a peaceful location in the hillside with views of the sea and great for sunset photo's. Restaurants in Balestrate were both good quality and value for money, and particularly good if you enjoy seafood! We enjoyed our stay as a short break - A peaceful holiday resort if you want to wind down!

Hard to Find

Posted 13-Oct-2011 on Hotels.com
This place is very hidden, a super narrow and in bad shape street leads you to this quiet but nice hotel. The lady who checked us into the hotel was super nice and helpful, she gave us recommendations on several restaurants around the area. The pool looked nice and it seems like the hotel has the potential to be lots of fun during high season. To get out to the main street is quite a task as you cannot return the way you came in. Instead one has to drive through another narrow street without any signs to direct you to the main streets. This place is relatively close to the beach, we saw a bunch of the guests walking in from the beach. The WiFi is only available in the lobby. The place was very nice and very clean. We felt safe since the whole place is gated and there is a guard at the entrance who keeps an eye on who comes in and out of the hotel.
